Wanted to do a take on Alfred from Batman. Don't think I have ever drawn him.Hope ya'll digs.

Seriously, though, it's cool to see some love for old man Pennyworth. It's pretty damn rare to see Alfred by himself in a piece of artwork, which is kind of tragic since he's so badass. For a butler, anyway.

you know, no one draws Alfred. And this is a really nice rendition of him. He looks a bit younger here, then I normally picture him, but I was spoiled on the old cartoons, where he's a wonderfully stuff old, maybe 74 year old, looking guy. X3 Very neat style you have too. I love his pants. O.o

You know, it's odd, there just don't seem to be enough elderly people in art. O.o...granted, they aren't all smooth, and pretty...but god, they are interesting to look at. You wonder where they got all those smile lines, what made all those mouth wrinkles, what gave them those pale complexions, or masses of freckles.
I wouldn't complain if you did some more elderly gents...especially not if you did some more Alfredness. He's pretty damn cool, for an old guy X3.

i dig it.....i agree with all the eye comments though. zombie slave to the bat. it could work, but i've always seen him as being a warm character also....

I really love his uniform. It looks really funky. Too bad he's old. It would cool on some teenage-ish kid. I think the only thing I'd improve is his eyes. He's kinda looks like a zombie of sorts. On a slightly related topic, men in pengin suits look cool.

I love the colours and general style but I'm not too keen on the huge moustache. Part of Alfred's inherent snootyness (is that a word?), in my humble opinion, lies on his thin moustache; it makes him look pedant enough to be capable of holding back Batman/Bruce.

Alfred looks great here, different from the regular old guy in the movies. But you manage the real British suave gentlemenly-like look that I found personally enjoyable to view.And you took quite a few years outta him too...makes sense to me coz he's gonna need all the energy to take care of Batsie, the Mansion as well as managing the Batcave...Whew!!!

Oh, the only thing is that I see the moustach a bit big, Alfred moustach is much more thinner.

I'm not sure about the eyes, but those fingers are looking great! I lov the folds of the pants as well... very strong sense of design with the essential simplication to make a powerful image and characterisation.... luving it man!!! You have never fail to impress.

Loving this piece mang. I like that you young'd him up a bit, but still he's got some age spots and the clothes hanging off his bones denotes that emaciated feel that a stiff, prim butler might have.
Lots is working for this piece. Only thing working against it are the shoes. They seem to be a bit more blocky than the rest of the piece. Holla

you really nailed his attire... classy, yet obviously "the help" I have to agree with the eyes though... alfred is such a caring individual, to black out his eyes makes him seem possessed... PLEASE make the eyes normal on this... I would love this piece so much more.
I also think that front foot seems to be falling off towards the tip of it... I don't think you foreshortned it enough.

I like the age add on for age, I was a big batman fan untill the newer movies got lame. I love your style with the eyes its so different which is good. The shadowing is great , keep it up man.
