I like the concept, i think it is something that most surrealists search for and you have presented it in a brilliant way. I like the little red ball as it would be a teptation of setting your foot outside in the barren, rocky outside which looks quite unexplored and vast.

That is a very clever interpretation.
The "real world" is an alien place to me, and my painting often reflect how the world seems to me. My clearest thoughts and ideas come when I can find a quiet place, in solitude, where I can just sit and think.
