Description
A drawing for *MeAndMyRobot 's Pokemon Hugging contest. When I saw the theme, I began sketching right away. This scene takes place in the old roleplay that Kya had originally been created for. This was before Mo gained his goggles. I did my best to re-tell the scene that had been roleplayed so long ago.

And now you will know exactly why Mo has an extreme fear of scizor.

About a year ago, Kya had been visiting a pokemon academy of sorts as part of her travels. She had greeted one or two of the other trainers visiting and then went off on the campus to read. She found a sturdy tree and leaned back against it with her book. She only had her Gligar, Mo and her Bayleef, Leaf with her and they were playing together not far away.

Mo was on Leaf's back, enjoying a ride. "Hey Leaf?", he began. "Can we play Gligarman?" Leaf rolled her eyes and turned her head to the gligar sitting on her back. "Are you sure? Remember what happened last time?" The Gligar looked uncertain for a moment before answering. "Don't worry Leaf, It won't happen again." A small disagreeing grunt came from withing the bayleef. "Okay, but don't say I didn't warn you." Leaf extended one of her powerful thick vines and wrapped it around Mo, lifting him into the air. "Okay, here we go!" She twirled her vine to give the gligar some momentum before flinging him high into the air.

Kya glanced up from her book to check on her pokemon only to see Mo being launched into the air. She dropped the book and ran over to where Leaf was standing. "Oh great.."

Not too far off was a young man and his scizor. He was the kind of trainer who was ready to go beyond the limits with his pokemon. He didn't seem to care for others either. He spotted a gligar looping and swirling and just plain gliding in the air above the academy campus. The purple creature was irritating him. He barely moved as he gave his scizor a command. "Get rid of it." The young man meant it in the most literal of senses as well and his pokemon knew this.
The Bright red insect shot off like a rocket after the care-free gligar.

Mo was just enjoying himself despite his trainer, Kya trying to get him to come back down. He glided to his left only to see a shiny red pokemon approaching at high speed. He had no chance to react and was knocked tin the direction of the ground with a powerful metal claw attack. Mo just barely saw the ground coming at him when he blacked out.
-BAM-
A crowd of trainers turned to see what had crashed into the ground with such force. Kya quickly made her way to the centre of the crowd with her bayleef right behind her. She cast a quick glance up at the sky and then scooped her beloved pokemon into her arm in effort to keep him safe. A few of the trainers nearby took notice of the scizor's trainer and started yelling at him and challenging him, but all Kya could really focus on was helping Mo.
