Description
This is a portrait of Zach Braff, mainly known for his role as John 'J.D.' Dorian in the comedy series 'Scrubs'.It's practically finished, I just want to adjust some values and put a little more detail in.

- a4 printer paper
- 2H, H, HB, B, 2B, 4B
- kneaded eraser
- tissues
- home-made tortillons/blending sticks
- reference image
- didn't keep track of time anymore...

It's really funny because to me it comes natural.. But do realize that it takes me hours and hours to make a drawing like this. I always tell people this is the easiest form of art; I've got everything I need in front of me. The picture's got everything in it, I just look and draw the same thing again

well.. i was close to mental breakdowns when just supposed to sketch a fricken leaf!!!!! a leaf.. and just a sketch..basically an oval with lines in it.. i donno.. my mind can do it but my hands can't.. like there are connections missing.. anyway i think being able to draw is about one of the greatest gifts of all! because.. you get to print out images from your head.. i mean.. no matter how well we ever explain an idea to someone..the picture they see will never be even close to the one we have.. and you can just..put it into paper..
of course i realize your effort and practice.. don't get me wrong ^^

Firstly, I didn't mean to force respect, I meant that if anyone put more effort in really looking what they saw they could achieve much more than they think.
Secondly, drawing something from your head is something totally different from what I do. I wish I would be able to just draw Zach Braff from memory or anyone for that matter! What I do is just copy one picture to another. Not much imagination involved, only estimating proportions, angles and values.
