Sorry for the late reply! Thanks so much and I'm glad you like it! Though, I feel that just about EVERY part of the Silmarillion I really like is a part that has very little detail. Tolkien did not give much of it to his villains, and particularly their death scenes (See: Gothmog, Maeglin, etc) I can't help it, I love antagonists.

Anyway! I'm working on Pg. 2 of this comic today, shouldn't be too long before it's posted!

And you are also going to draw this comic because you're awesome and you can do it and people are waiting for it! *snaps fingers* XDDDD I got your epic note and I am disappointed because it has only 7 pages in Word while Rivka;s has 8 8PPP! (no ok Rivka was cheating and pasting links in a column so yours is still longer XDDD) I just write to inform I will read it tomorrow because its 4am and I can't process things right now XDDD But I see you divided it in chapters, thats true auto-biography, ready for printing XDD By the way is it like 10pm for you right now? I calculated we have 6 hours difference but I'm not sure XD

You are wrong! It is actually 7:25 here. XD So even MORE time difference. The west coast of the US is further from Poland than the east coast, probably, and there's 4 hours time difference from coast to coast here. Please do sleep, and read my novel in the morning x3 <3 <3

Hoho, crazy time differences. So what, 9 hours? Wow XD And for Zlu its 7:31 AM now so you have 12 hour difference with her! Craaazy XD Yeah I'll go to sleep soon, I just need to learn how to use Adobe Acrobat to be able to apply to one of the jobs tomorrow (I don't like claiming I can do something before I actually can do it XDDDD) Can't wait to read your novel when I wake up XD!

Thank you!! Yes, I am going to work more on this immediately. Also OMG PLEASE STUDY and do well on your exams. These things are over quickly, and the fandom, and your new friends ( ) will still be here when you return VICTORIOUSLY.

Also: I am nearly finished with your fanfiction. THERE WAS MORE SMUT!! I did not realize! XD Serves me right for stopping in the middle! I blushed so furiously over that doing-it-on-the-forge-table business that I decided Rivka needed to be read that chapter aloud posthaste. She's usually not one for fanfic, and I had read your earlier chapters and just condensed/explained them to her so she'd be in the loop. You know, I think your later chapters (In addition to being awesome like the first chapters!) are actually a bit technically superior. I mean in the editing and flow of the sentences and paragraphs, and the use of old-english-y stuff in the dialogue. I see an upward improvement! The writing flows more naturally. When you get a moment (after you study!!) do tell me how you and your partner in crime organize and split up the writing for the fic? Do you roleplay it first then convert your RP logs into paragraph form? Do you switch off every chapter? Does one person do the writing and the other just helps with the ideas? I must know! We too have tried a couple of different methods like these, I want to know what worked for you guys :3

I will leave some more specific comments about your fic soon, alas, I must go to work now. Good luck on your exams this week! <3

Haha it's 3am and I'm dead and still have 4 exams to go (4 other are passed, 5th, well, I'll know when the results appear XD; ) but I am taking this evening off hell yeah, because my brain is full of f*** after the last few days XD; So watch me reply this one comment yes! XDDD

Oh gosh do work on thissss pleassse, you make the most amazing things! Both of you do XD And so quickly! I take forever on my stuff, erasing eye or nose for so long there is a hole in the paper (or endlessly in photoshop since I am not limited by the durability of the paper-sheet XDDD), so I am pretty envious when I see space and chains and serpents and freaking stronghold-prisons just drawn casually like that XDDDD You're damn amazing! I actually always imagined it somewhat like that. I mean, Melkor just being trapped in space, chained. Many people (based on things I've read on forums and fics I've read) seem to think Void is some place where all outcasts go and so Melkor was banished there and established a new castle of his own and is chilling there on some new throne, ruling new void-dwellers and is simply distanced from Arda XD;;; While this here is just how it should be, devoid of hope, lonely and quite cruel, but hey at least he has those serpents to keep him company XDDD For some reason I just imagined some gentleman serpent in the tophat trying to host a conversation with Melkor XDDD /sorry too tired, has stupid ideas

But wow the fic, you're discovering more smut in it good job XDDDD! And oh god did you actually go ahead and read it to Rivka outloud? XD (If so how did she like it? XDDDD Did you sing the songs too? XDDD) I now imagine the 'Loyalty Unyielding - The Dramatic Reading' version of the fic XD Though to say the truth I really like that chapter and not just because of smut, but because of the way I think we managed to depict the power of music and tried to mark that by making narrative prose almost into song in the beginning.

And oh yes, starting from 4th chapter it definitely gets better as far as the writing style is concerned because up to 3rd chapter it was supposed to be rather funny/comical/written mostly for the two of us and then we suddenly decided we will put it on the Internet (omg XD) and that it should be somewhat serious after all (we have a love for stuffing comedy, tragedy, drama and slap-stick together and somehow making it a all a coherent story XDDD) so we reworked those three chapters but I think it still really shows they were written on a funny note and with less attention to detail XDDD

As to our way of writing, it's sssecret and we shall never tell you! Alright alright, of course we will C: Basically Zlu is writing all the Melkor and I am writing all the Sauron, and since Zlu is the more concise and to the point one in this relationship (she's generally more logical than me) while I have a love of going into character's thoughts and sitting at night writing long epic things (I used to write stories alone before I met her), it all kind of automatically became narrated from Sauron's point of view. But I think it's not so bad, I mean it's much more believable to know what a Maia servant is thinking than to know what is going through the head of one as incomprehensible as a Vala/demigod/Melkor so we leave Melkor's thoughts out of the story on purpose, I think the way he acts is enough, Sauron can't really see into his head either XD

But alright I am digressing. So what I was saying is we have a clear division, so we actually do roleplay everything, we just roleplay it cleanly from the start, at least it seems to me now that we do because you seem not to notice right away it's a roleplay consisting of posts (or logs as I think you call them) written in turns XDDDDD Though of course being that person who loves to sit at night (I always have more time than Zlu because when its 9pm at my place its already midnight at hers and she's also working so she needs to get up early and so she goes off skype and I am left alone with some time to write) pouring over things I always go through this roleplayed chapter once or twice and edit things, mostly applying cosmetic changes just to make it all flow better, and trying to wash away that border between her post ending and my post starting but sometimes I also have issues with some dialogues too or think we just went in the wrong direction somewhere and in such case I tell Zlu and we rewrite those. And as far as I am changing Sauron and some background stuff freely I am always consulting Zlu if I happen to want an edit concerning Melkor, because I would never dare to write characters played by her myself, I just don't even want to pretend I 'feel' them XDDD So for example next chapter is going to be only about Sauron's doings in the next ages so I will be the one writing the whole thing but later there will be something I won't reveal but majorly centering around Melkor and she's writing that. And when they are both there, we both write everything and then I (since I am unemployed right now and before exams I had quite some free time) just make sure it's perfect XDDD


This whole Melkor/Sauron thing all started when Zlu began obsessing about Silmarillion and those two guys alone while I was stubbornly insisting that we should focus on our amazing secret original fantasy-story in the making (I am always the stupid stubborn one, like with this not-gonna-have-a-tumblr-because-of-reasons thing XDD) so I was out of the loop for a while and she went on trying to design how Sauron and Melkor would be looking, drawing silly comics with them and I saw then that there is no way she will stop and go back to our original stuff and since we always do things together I was like 'gurl, stop designing Sauron, I am taking that dude off your hands' XDDDD And I did, for better or for worse! XDDD And since her stuff was hilarious (like that XD [link] ), and we were also majorly laughing at 'Angband' and what kind of name for stronghold that is at all, first thing I drew as response was this: [link] XDDD (since we also laughed that they must mishear a lot of things because of helmets you know and that Sauron is afraid he'll have to be in charge of Gangbang XDDD) The whole Gangnam style probably originated somewhere from that misheard Angband stuff idea XDDDD Is your recent reactivation of Silmarillion love the result of Rivka's dream?

Anyways as you see I went offtopic again because like to write. And that's terrible XDDD

I just need to inform that Zlu is sadly going to be taking a quite serious jaava programming certificate exam soon and she's studying hard for it now (she only has time after she comes back from job, and then I mostly occupy that time skyping with her) so she won't be able to talk to you guys much online now but I assure you she's just as entertaining to talk so it's well worth the wait XD The difference beween us is probably that she is capable of writing what I wrote here less chaotic and in 50% of length and makes more sense XDDDD So when she is done with certification she shall communicate more. And now you're mostly stuck with me, I pity you XD Ok sorry, I shall now go away and spend the next few days studying again hurray XD; Long post is loooong, I beg forgiveness!
