My dad and I made articulated wings for a Halloween concert tomorrow in which I'm conducting for the first time (but only for like, 50 seconds.) It's not exactly what I wanted but after some rest I'm feeling a little better about it.The feathers aren't all overlapping the way they will when I wear them; they have to be adjusted.

These are absolutely awesome!!! Β When they close, do the feathers all hang straight down, or are they fixed?

Most of them were affixed with pins. The hollow shaft/rachis per feather was a coffee straw so this made the feathers possible to swing from the pins. I guess short answer is they hang straight down. It's been a while though.
