In Doctor Whooves' defence, this is how all of his first dates go.Perhaps he should have taken Derpy to the Pillow Planet, or Candyland or something.
Basically anywhere other then the Isle of Giant Ice Serpents Who Hate Strangers And Eat Ponies.

(Stereo)typically, I'd expect to see the Doctor saving the girl. Great to see the role reversal here. And I love the expression on the serpent's face; he clearly wasn't expecting this role reversal, was he? Looks like its the last mistake he'll be making!

I don't believe in the whole needing to be rescued because THIS SEX or in being the rescuer because THAT SEX, better to have people be people as it were.
I think the snakes more surprised by flying food, I don't think he's seen a Pegasus before.

A place where you see every kind of muffins grow from the center of a flower or even from the tops of trees.
Now that would of been the perfect place for a date.

Candyland: Have you even seen the game? Look at all the stuff that could fall over and break somebody/pony's back, or where you could get stuck! Or get cavities!
