Making the big Toothless was so much fun, and a portable version promised to be too cute to NOT make - so, on the plane ride to Italy on an orchestra last month, I made good use of my hand-stitching skills and sewed a mini-Toothless!

I used the same pattern (thank you, :Katy-A:!) as I did for the large version, but shrunk it to 80% its original size... smaller glass accents for the eyes, same glass enamel paint, same scaly felt. This time, his wings were light enough that the pipe cleaner wires actually held them up and made them posable ^_^

He's completed his tour of Italy, and is currently on his way to Norway, Sweden, Ireland, Spain, France, etc et... two friends of mine have brought him along on a 3 month jaunt across Europe, taking pictures along the way. This is hopefully one of many collages to come
