[T r a i n e r] - Pepper Marie
- Personality: Courageous: Pepper is a very brave type of person. It's hard to scare her or get her to back down. She tends to be the first one to put herself in the line of danger when in battle. Honest: Pepper is disgusted in anyone who feels the need to slink around and try to avoid the truth. She will tell you how it is without sugar coating anything because she feels everyone deserves to know the truth before it's too late.    Passionate: Pepper doesn't give up when she believes in something, at least not easily. She tends to stick to something till the very end. She isn't one to turn away with her tail between her legs. Flirtatious: Pepper can't help giving a wink and a smile to strangers. She enjoys making others flustered or using her charm to get some free stuff. She sometimes finds it hard to keep her flirting at beau when it is an inappropriate time.   Observant: This girl notices EVERYTHING these days. She is able to easily pick up on changes in attitude, the tiniest hint of shade in someone's words, etc.  She usually will keep quiet, taking notes on those around her. This sometimes causes her to judge people more so on what she's heard come from their mouth over just their appearance or rumors. Independent: Pepper has learned to trust herself and herself alone. Though she has friends, and obviously people she cares for, she knows she doesn't need anyone to feel like she's important. This can allow her to too easily let people go from her life, though, which she may later regret. Emotional: Pepper gets mad and upset very easily. She is a loose canon, holding grudges and taking things a bit too personally, even when it comes to strangers. She finds it hard to trust people if they ever caused her to feel bad. Compulsive: Pepper tends to act before thinking at times. She is very good at saying the wrong thing at the wrong time or just blurting out her feelings, not caring who it might hurt or if it will get her into trouble. She has been known to throw punches too quickly or lose her temper at bad times.   Outspoken: Pepper is no longer one to push around or to take things lightly. If she feels you're in the wrong or are being an idiot, she will blatantly tell you so and doesn't think about the consequences it can bring.

- Personality:   Protective: Atlas is a very loyal pokemon who is always there to watch his trainer's back. He becomes this way towards any human or pokemon he deems as a friend.   Witty: Atlas is very smart, always finding ways to confuse and trick people and pokemon. He is good at using his intelligence to escape dangerous or troubling situations.   Quiet: Atlas isn't one to make a fuss or make himself known when in a crowd. He enjoys being vigilant and listening to everything around him.   Loner: Atlas prefers to be by himself or with Pepper. He doesn't like being around too many people at once. He is most comfortable alone.   Aggressive: Atlas, similar to his trainer, tends to have a temper. If he feels someone is getting too close or is suspicious to him, he isn't afraid to show his teeth. Competitive: Atlas tends to get a bit too invested when it comes to contests or competitions. He will make up his own challenges if he feels someone is trying to show him up. He constantly thinks pokemon are trying to one up him and hates losing. Manipulative: Atlas is good at playing the victim and using his cuteness to get things from people and other pokemon. He tends to use this for bad reasons, like getting extra food or to get away with not cooperating.

Pepper was born to a rather normal family. She had an older sister named Rosaline who she looked up to from the day she was able to walk on her own. The two were the best of friends, giving their parents all kinds of trouble as they made up games, played outside, etc. They were inseparable. Pepper was the neighborhood favorite. She was friendly, exciting, always the leader of their group of friends who came over for play dates. When Pepper turned six, she was surprised when her sister fell ill. She was more than furious when her parents told her that Rosie would be going away for a while.. Where were they taking her? Why couldn't they go with her? She was so mad, she didn't even say goodbye to Rosie on the night she left for a special hospital rather far from home. After this event, Pepper's attitude changed drastically for a while. She was keeping to herself, acting out towards her parents... She'd ask at least once a week when Rosie would be home, only to be met with silence or awkward responses of 'soon' or ' someday'. Things would end up getting worse before better..

When Pepper turned thirteen, her parents had decided to divorce. She was sent to live with her mother, who several months after the separation became a heavy alcoholic. She'd have men in and out almost every night and were constantly moving around the country. It felt like she'd been to every school conceivable.. The time she spent with her father was some of the best times in her life. He was the stable one, the one who stayed in the same house for years, where Pepper had friends she could always see and was able to feel safe. She wished she could stay with him.. She had been taken away from her mother for a while after Pepper went to school with a black eye and her mother was under investigation for child abuse. During this time she ended up living with her father after all.. But that's when she learned evil step mothers were a real thing.

Brenda was a monster.. She treated Pepper like an animal. The father she once knew and loved was replaced by an emotionless shell.. Due to all the stress, she failed tenth grade, causing her to be held back. One evening, Pepper ended up in a rather nasty fight with Brenda that ended with pepper being kicked out.. She ended up back with her alcoholic mother. Pepper became rather sassy and bitchy, no longer taking shit from anyone. This caused her to get into fights with her mother a lot more often. One night after a rather bad verbal argument, Pepper went to a nearby party a friend had mentioned, where she met Brandon. Brandon was a guy only looking for fun, and it seemed Pepper would be the entertainment. She was so upset that having someone give her attention made like her putty in his hands. She lost her virginity that night.. The day that Pepper's mother passed away, she couldn't help feeling bad for the way she had treated her during her last few years.. Her mother had lost everything when her father left, and she understood that now. In an attempt to make everyone happy, her father sent her somewhere else, claiming she'd be happier.. Little did she know that would be the day she would see her sister again..

She was with Rosaline again, finding out that Rosie had decided to live on her own after finally being released from the hospital. She'd been eighteen by that time, now having a job after finishing school online. Rosaline helped her with school to ensure she would graduate, even though she had a son to care for. Her sister's boyfriend worked a lot, so Pepper helped with her nephew, Aiden, whenever she could. Pepper started to have suspicions about Rosie's boyfriend when she found him making strange calls while Rosaline was at work. Pepper went to Rosie about the situation. Rosie tried to convince Pepper she was wrong but her suspicions were correct, unfortunately. Pepper was there for her sister during this harsh reality, and they pressed through it together.

A week before graduation, her father passed away from a heart attack. Pepper was miserable, seeing as even though he wasn't who he had been when she was a child... She still saw him as her hero, the man who protected her and loved her.. The night of the news she found herself wandering one of the less safe areas of Stardust Valley.. she'd ended up in an area known for aggressive Durants. She realized too late she'd made this mistake as one of the large bug Pokemon attacked. She was surprised when a flash of stars came out of nowhere, hitting the angry Pokemon and startling it. That was Swift.. she glanced to the side, scared she was in for a second attacked.. but was greeted with a hefty Eevee. Another Swift was sent at the Durant, causing it to run off in anger. "Thanks for the help little guy," she told the Eevee. This was the start of a beautiful friendship. She named the Eevee Atlas and he allowed her to be his trainer.

Pepper graduated, and when she realized just how badly her sister was struggling to support her and Aiden, Pepper knew she had to do something.. anything! She bounced from job to job for a few years, giving her money to Rosie to help with rent and bills. It still wasn't enough.. They were glad to have each other, and did their best to look at the bright side, but Pepper knew it was her turn to be the supportive one.. On her twenty first birthday she announced she was joining the military.. by this time atlas has grown to evolve to a sylveon. She was going to take care of her sister and make up for all she'd done for her.
