If she becomes incredibly upset, she will be unable to hold a form and will begin changing excessively, which is extremely painful. Pepper was born to a rather normal looking family.. Her mother was a short blonde with gorgeous emerald eyes; her father was a tall brunette with chocolate eyes. She had an older sister named Rosaline who she looked up to from the day she was able to walk on her own. The two were the best of friends, giving their parents all kinds of trouble as they made up games, played outside, etc. They were inseparable. Rosaline was a rather quiet girl compared to Pepper. Pepper was the neighborhood favorite. She was friendly, exciting, always the leader of their group of friends who came over for play dates. She and Rosaline began to distance themselves from each other as they grew in age.. When Pepper reached the age of six, she was surprised when her sister came out of her room with bright pink hair. She was crying.. And Pepper didn't understand why.. She as more than furious when her parents told her that Rosie would be going away for a while.. Where were they taking her? Why couldn't they go with her? She was so mad, she didn't even say goodbye to Rosie on the night she left. After this event, Pepper's attitude changed drastically for a while. She was keeping to herself, acting out towards her parents.. She was becoming quite the handful. She'd ask at least once a week when Rosie would be home, only to be met with silence or awkward responses of 'soon' or ' someday'. Things would end up becoming far worse before they came close to better..

When Pepper turned thirteen, her parents had decided to divorce. She was sent to live with her mother, who several months after the separation became a heavy alcoholic. She'd have men in and out almost every night, making the teenager rather uncomfortable. They were constantly moving around her home state of Wisconsin. It felt like she'd been to every middle and high school in the state.. She'd tried to not make friends anymore, as it always hurt her to have to leave them so suddenly. The time she spent with her father was some of the best times in her life. He was the stable one, the one who stayed in the same house for years, where Pepper had friends she could always see and was able to feel safe. She wished she could stay with him.. But when his new fiance came into play... Things wouldn't be able to work out how she'd wanted. Her life through the first two years of high school were horrible.. She struggled in school, as her schedule and classes would be more messed up with each passing move. She had been taken away from her mother for a while when one of her boyfriends had tried.. some inappropriate acts with the brunette. During this time she ended up living with her father after all.. But that's when she learned evil step mothers were a real thing.

Brenda was a monster.. If you thought supers were scary, this woman blew them out of the water.. She beat Pepper, made her clean up after everyone as if she was a slave.. The father she once knew and loved was replaced by an emotionless shell.. Due to all the stress, she failed tenth grade, making her be held back another year.. She was beginning to think that she was just destined to be miserable.. And she missed her sister.. One evening, Pepper ended up in a rather nasty fight with Brenda that ended with pepper being kicked out.. She ended up back with her alcoholic mother, who now also introduced drugs into the mix. Instead of letting her sadness consume her, though, she began to try to look at the bright side. She became rather sassy and even bitchy, no longer taking shit from anyone. This caused her to get into fights with her mother often. In her mind, it was better than being stepped on.. One night after a rather bad verbal argument, Pepper went out for a drive.. She went downtown to a night club, where she met Brandon. Brandon was a guy only looking for a fun night, and it seemed Pepper would be the entertainment. She was so upset that having someone fawn over her, make her feel pretty and worth someone's time made her putty in his hands. She lost her virginity that night, but learned an important thing about herself.. She needed physical contact to feel wanted.. To feel secure.. The day that Pepper's mother passed away, she couldn't help feeling bad for the way she had treated her during her last few years.. Her mother had lost everything when her father left, and he understood that now. She felt like part of her death was her fault. If she'd been more supportive, tried to help.. It was said she'd died from an overdose, leaving Pepper with nowhere to go but to her fathers.. Where she wasn't welcome. In an attempt to make everyone happy, her father sent her somewhere else, claiming she'd be happier.. Little did she know that would be the day she would see her sister again..

This was when things started to lighten up.. She was with Rosaline again, who was a better mother to her than their real mother could be. Rosaline helped her with school to ensure she would graduate. It turned out Rosie had been sent away because she was a super. She had the abilities to copy other's powers, which Pepper found to be rather cool.. Things were finally looking up for her. Pepper started to have suspicions about Rosie's boyfriend when she found him making strange calls while Rosaline was at work. She'd hear him call the person baby, sexy, etc. Things he never.. Called Rosie. Nervous he was cheating on her sister, Pepper went to Rosie about the situation. Rosie tried to convince Pepper she was wrong, just misheard or misunderstood, but Pepper was sure of what she'd seen. Her suspicions were correct, unfortunately, and her sister was close to burning down their apartment when she caught him in bed with another woman. Pepper was there for her sister during this harsh reality, but they pressed through it together. Now only them and Aiden, they knew that's always have each other.

Pepper was coming close to being done with high school! She'd made new friends, applied at some colleges, things were going great! A week before graduation, her father passed away from a heart attack. Pepper was miserable, seeing as even though he wasn't who he had been when she was a child... She still saw him as her hero, the man who protected her and loved her.. The night of the news she found herself in the bed of another stranger.. Something Rosie did not take lightly. They got past it and celebrated her graduation early. It was the last good night she would have. She was surrounded by her friends and family and was happy.. Too bad nice things never last...

Pepper stood before the whole school, before Rosie and Aiden, prepared to accept her diploma and move on the better things in this world! As she felt the certificate in her hand, she turned to smile for the cameras. Suddenly, everything when black.. There was so much pain.. just so much pain.. When she opened her eyes again, Rosie was standing over her, terror on her face. 'I know where to take you.' What did she mean? Suddenly she was being dragged to their car, Aiden crying as he held his mother's hand. Where were they going? The ceremony wasn't over yet... What... She blacked out again.

She now was hidden away on the outskirts of Nevada, where a small sanctuary for supers lie. Her sister had once called this place home, as Superhumans were still considered rare, even though they'd been making more and more appearances as babies were being born in this century. Her sister was a super, but at least she still looked human... Pepper now sported pink skin, soulless green eyes, fangs.. What was she? She was a shapeshifter.. But what was she really? Her sister begged her to be strong, guaranteed she'd like it here. Her sister went so far as to move back to Nevada to be near her.. Regardless of how she tried to comfort her sister, Pepper just wanted a drink and to get laid. This was gonna suck so much..

  Pepper had met who she thought to be the love of her life while at the sanctuary. A guy by the name of Jeremy.. This didn't last however. He wasn't what she needed, but in a way the boy taught her the way of independence, especially when faced with a new situation.. Her sister came to see her, Pepper now being 20. She was going to make a school! Rosie was excited, telling Pepper that Super births were on the rise and she wanted to create a school just for them.. She wanted Pepper to teach by her side. Pepper had gotten her powers under pretty good control. With no ability to get a normal job and no desire to be a hero, she agreed. She's been teaching for five years now.

Ren was half tempted to take his hand as to lead him, and tell him to not cheat with that fancy vision of his, but decided against it.. He seemed distracted enough while telling her his story. She couldn't help but smile as he went on about his family and being attacked by ducks. She laughed along with him, brushing a strand of hair from her face. When he asked about her, she felt herself become a bit flustered. She didn't talk about herself often.
"M-me?" she murmured, glancing over at him. "Well I..O-oh! We are here~!" she chimed, casually trying to change the subject. This time she did take his hand, wanting to make sure he didn't trip or anything as they walked up a decently steep hill. The sop of the hill was flat and on it was a nice, shady tree. She let him go and placed the blanket down beneath the tree and placed the basket on one of the corners.
"Ok! Let's get set up~ I hope you like pastries! I may have gone a little overboard with the cupcakes.." she said with a soft laugh. She pulled out a small bowl of fruit, a platter of veggies, a container with a few sandwiches and of course the cupcakes. Can't forget those. "I hope there is something here you'll like.. I-I would have called and asked but um.. I didn't have your number," she explained, blushing from embarrassment.

She now was hidden away on the outskirts of Nevada, where a small sanctuary for supers lie. Her sister had once called this place home, as Superhumans were still considered rare, even though they'd been making more and more appearances as babies were being born in this century. Her sister was a super, but at least she still looked human... Pepper now sported pink skin, soulless green eyes, fangs.. What was she? She was a shapeshifter.. But what was she really? Her sister begged her to be strong, guaranteed she'd like it here. Her sister went so far as to move back to Nevada to be near her.. Regardless of how she tried to comfort her sister, Pepper just wanted a drink and to get laid. This was gonna suck so much..

  Pepper had met who she thought to be the love of her life while at the sanctuary. A guy by the name of Jeremy.. This didn't last however. He wasn't what she needed, but in a way the boy taught her the way of independence, especially when faced with a new situation.. Her sister came to see her, Pepper now being 20. She was going to make a school! Rosie was excited, telling Pepper that Super births were on the rise and she wanted to create a school just for them.. She wanted Pepper to teach by her side. Pepper had gotten her powers under pretty good control. With no ability to get a normal job and no desire to be a hero, she agreed. She's been teaching for five years now.

Ren was half tempted to take his hand as to lead him, and tell him to not cheat with that fancy vision of his, but decided against it.. He seemed distracted enough while telling her his story. She couldn't help but smile as he went on about his family and being attacked by ducks. She laughed along with him, brushing a strand of hair from her face. When he asked about her, she felt herself become a bit flustered. She didn't talk about herself often.
"M-me?" she murmured, glancing over at him. "Well I..O-oh! We are here~!" she chimed, casually trying to change the subject. This time she did take his hand, wanting to make sure he didn't trip or anything as they walked up a decently steep hill. The sop of the hill was flat and on it was a nice, shady tree. She let him go and placed the blanket down beneath the tree and placed the basket on one of the corners.
"Ok! Let's get set up~ I hope you like pastries! I may have gone a little overboard with the cupcakes.." she said with a soft laugh. She pulled out a small bowl of fruit, a platter of veggies, a container with a few sandwiches and of course the cupcakes. Can't forget those. "I hope there is something here you'll like.. I-I would have called and asked but um.. I didn't have your number," she explained, blushing from embarrassment.
