Well, maybe the buttons are _a little_ cuter.(Only because they won't crap on you.)
This is little Calzone, hatched out on January 7th - he's not even a month old in this pic
People seemed to like the watercolor tray shots - they were okay, but I believe this one shows a good blast of color with a better focus. Which means I'm sure nobody will like it.

Hmm... I think a larger depth of field would make this easier on the eyes. (Same with the other button pic too.) I find the blurriness of the buttons a little painful to look at. Otherwise, this is a very nicely composed shot.

Maybe it's more of a, "Teehee, I use watercolors!!" type of thing that caused everyone to like that image so much. Worked on me.
I like how full and pure the colors are here. It kinda makes me sad that it has 40 favorites and only 5 comments, though.

I think I prefer my lizards climbing around buttons rather than a water colour paint tray... considering they eat anything if you dont keep an eye on them...
Calzone almost looks hidden amongst those orange buttons.
