BLAHHHHHHH.

*translation* Good night and a fortnight, I nearly gave up on this stupid thing hnnnnnngggg. I redid it twice before I finally settled on something I could be moderately satisfied with. There is still so much about this that could be adjusted, fixed, and tweaked, but I'm done. DONE. Ugh.

Soooooo.
Yeah, this was a brain-wreaker for me. Lol. I wanted to try a completely different and new style. Something a bit asian-y, and something with that 'rough paper' texture that I've seen pulled off so well around here. One such way it is, can be found in the awesomely talented GaudiBuendia 's art, who's work hugely inspired this piece I'd strongly recommend a visit, she's an awesome artist

So anyway, this was probably one of my biggest digital art challenges yet, and I'm not sure how well I did in pulling it off. Hard as it was, it was very enjoyable and I learned much from tackling it. I hope to be able to do something like this again in the future

Also, as a side note, if any of you are wondering why there seems to be a sudden flood of digital work and no traditional going into my gallery, it's because of two things: 1. I don't currently have a scanner at my disposal as of now, and 2., I'm practicing the art of breaking in my tablet and getting used to that Don't worry though, I still have plenty of traditional work that will be making it's way into my gallery at some point
