wow, first drawing of 2024, and what a drawing to start off the year!
so, this is something I've wanted to do for a while now, here we have my designs for Lenny's parents, and yes, Lenny is a girl here because if you've followed my art page for long enough then you might be aware that I have a small theory that Lenny is transgender. I've always wanted to expand more on that story (since the show isn't doing any full -episode storylines for him any time soon), so I drew an adorble baby Lenny, who was then known as Lenalda. speaking of names, the names I gave his parents are Lenford and Lorraine "Liora" Leonard😊.

now this drawing takes place in 1956,the year I believe Lenny was born in. I wanted to show the time period in the characters clothing. Lenford is a war hero who served in world war ll. he wears his uniform in his home most of the time but he does have a pair of casual suspenders like Lennys. Liora wears a dress you'd see most women wear in the 50s, it's modest, fashionable, and it's a button up so it's functional for when Lenny needs a feeding. and plus it goes perfectly with her bouffant. and as for little Lenny, they're just wearing a simple light - blue baby dress, although you can only see half of it because of the dark green blanket they're swaddled in😄.

I do know of Lenny's sister, Laine, but I think she's younger than Lenny so I can't include her here. but don't threat, I have many ideas for her and I made sure to think of her when designing Lenford and Liora.
