The Ranger Class Cruiser is the Baton Rouge Era ship by Vanguard, based off of Neale Davidson's design. The Ranger was one of the more famous ships of it's time due to it's being the first ship to have contact with the Klingons (Not taking into account ST:Ent), and being the first casualty of the subsiquant war with the Klingons.Related content

Thanks. It does a little bit. Though, to the best of my knowlage, the design was made before TNG. And there is a TOS design that's closer. And I'll probably get around to doing it.

Yeah, which I'm okay with. If it's not on top, it should be on the saucer. If it is on top, it can be anywhere. In my humble opinion at least.
