oH MY GOURD XD I love Sturges, he's so cool. Also I love the line "Why thankee, miss!". That is the perfect way to capture "Thank you" with that southernish accent i'm totally using that now if you don't mind. XD
I've actually had a similar experience with him and trading, imma make it into a comic XD

Sturges is awesome. He's too much fun to be a basic NPC. I wonder if he was a follower at one point and they changed their minds somewhere along the way.

I tried to give each settlement its own set of outfits, which worked pretty well.

Your NPCs seem to have the strangest tastes in outfits. I mean Hancock and his hipster scarf and rolled cuff jeans and now Sturges...
All of which is gold of course.

The best is Cait. I put her in the Minutemen General outfit, which is essentially a blue closed version of Hancock's open red. She rocks that hat and sunglasses like a boss.

Sturges has his limits....apparently. Then again who am I to judge? I wanted to kill Preston after about 2 or three settlements and proceeded to avoid him like the plague afterwards.

same. I ended up making the red rocket my main place to chill because it was far away from presetion but still close enough if I wanted to talk to the other npcs.

I did the same actually. Red was the HQ but all my peeps and power armor was in Sanctuary Hills. I had a Tony Stalk set up with my power gear there. One huge building with different power armors on each floor. It was sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
As for Preston....well he cant order me around if im on a roof can he?

Who knows though! Maybe you drive the NPC Authority Rep to not wanting to trade items either. The Commonwealth has been forever altered. For good or bad... we'll have to see in FO5.

Most of the stuff I've seen floating around the rumor mill suggests either LA or maybe New Orleans. As I'm a Cali boy myself, I'm pullin for wandering around a post apocalyptic Los Angeles. What about you?
