Of course, everyone knows that statues come to life, at night, when no one’s watching; and, Classical Statues were brightly painted originally.

This is for the Out of Your Comfort Zone Contest, hosted by CRPhotomanipulation

Nudity seems to be out of the Comfort Zone of a lot of people, which admittedly makes me uncomfortable.

Although, it’s ironic, since classical, artistic nudes go back to the earliest forms of art.

And, everyone is literally only a variation, or a “deviation”, or "mutation", on the same basic model. Like houses, in a subdivision, they all start out with the same basic blueprint.

This was an interesting theme. I had a teacher, who said artists should always be stretching and challenging their comfort zones.

It was actually a Night School course, at the Community College, when I was 11. Can't remember how I paid for it: Paper route, I think.

The theme of sculptures coming to life, like Galatea and Pygmalion , or Pinocchio ,* is a common one.

It’s not commonly known that Geppetto , immortalized in The Adventures of Pinocchio (1883), Carlo Collodi , [2] [3] also had an Aunt, Ornella , who created her bronze , Automaton , daughter, Gemma , with a Ruby Heart, as seen in Forged Heart . [Actually, I just made that story up for a friend. –cat…]

Memo:
While some models, in some of my photomanipulations, have been in lingerie before, as in In The Library... ; nude models, like in Astra and Stella , have been previously obscured.

Hopefully, society will become more accepting of the infinite diversity of the human form, and biodiversity, which is so essential so survival.

Admittedly, I’ve often wondered what the ideal human form is. It’s hard to tell, when even professionals have their images altered.

My friend, who works as a Physiotherapist, suggested looking to Classical Models, Yoga, Isometrics, Resistance, and Martial Arts. [Her favourite is Tai Chi, which is hysterical, trying to follow with Dyslexia.]
