A Journal-Doll commissioned by ShaQuaVaraCryistal, her mate Crath, and their granddaughter Raillyck
*edit* Fixed some markings, and re-balanced some colors
As I was drawing this I kinda felt like a photographer, Cry's calm familiarity, Crath's watchfulness in front of an unfamiliar creature, and Raillyck's curiosity.
I've never drawn Crath nor Raillyck before, but I've put Cryistal to the pen many a time.
Left hand is crampy and sad, but I am happy and pleased.
I seldom draw more than one character in a scene so it was quite challenging to make three interact with each other. I went through a number of sketches before i landed on this composition, I'd like to believe that it gives a feeling that the character's are familiar with each other and that the elder wolves are prepared to defend their young kin.
