Description just something i made just for the fun of it. if you want to take a look at the original Modelo 1900 Revólver, here's the link: fav.me/d6lb4z0

.............................................................................
designed for hunting, this weapon features some mechanisms that differ it from other revolving rifles. in order to avoid the blast burning the shooter's hand in the handguard, there is a protection shell that completelt covers the cylinder, leaving only the rear part of the cylinder opened, because of obvious reasons (firing, extracting, loading, etc.). however, there is also a plate in the rear that covers almost all the rear part, leaving open only the part where the firing pin is to strike. however, as it is welded into the main frame, when the revolver is broke open for reload this piece no longer covers the rear part of the cylinder, allowing for normal extraction and loading.

despite the fact that it still had some issues, it didn't fall into obscurity like other revolving rifles. however, these few issues prevented it from being a sales sucess. nevertheless, they are still produced in small numbers nowadays and are somewhat popular as small game hunting and target shooting weapons.

thanks!

not so much of a novelty, revolving rifles have been out for quite a long time, since the wild west cap-and-ball times. however they didn't catch on because

- if you put your hand in the forearm, you will likely get som burns

- as they didn't fire cartridges, but loose powder with a lead ball on the front, there was risk of ammunition cook-off, again right on your hand

- you would be much better with a Colt SAA.

my design was made with solving these problems in mind. i don't think i managed to do it, though.

That being said, it would be very nice to own such a historical antique.
