zaheïra always has a warm, welcoming smile when she meets people. her eyes often appear to be dreamy, and she seems like she's always letting her imagination get the best of her. she can get carried away with her daydreams, and gets excited describing to people the whimsical thoughts she has or small joys in her day. she works very hard at the things she does, though her dreaminess can her easily-distracted from her work at the shrine. she tries her best. she is almost always happy - happy to talk to others, happy to be working the job she does, happy to just be alive. she's happiest when she's surrounded by flowers or in the gardens. her optimistic spirit is unsuppressable.

zaheïra grew up in a farming family, an only child to two older parents. she began as a rambunctious and sly child, to both the entertainment and irritation of her parents. her early years saw her getting into a fair bit of trouble, and earning disapproving glances from the neighbors. her childhood was a happy one, though her family were modest by elven standards. her parents fostered her love of arts and for plants, and she would spend many hours alone, wandering the city, idling in the gardens, or in her room practicing her crafts - dancing, singinging, and painting. she learned early on that an agreeable and soft personality earned her favors in her society, and adjusted her behavior accordingly. the same wily, quick-witted child remained inside her, but she glossed over her less-acceptable personality with a carefully-perfected sweet airiness. her parents were proud that their daughter had matured and were delighted when she accepted a position at the Shrine. zaheïra, however, has her own reasons for pursuing a position in the religious quarters.

many years of practice have perfecting zaheïra's act, and very few people have known her to behave as anything but the sweet, accomodating young lady she is. she lives on the edge of town in a small, older tree, in a home surrounded by pots of flowers and herbs.
