Description The first pencil drawing I've finished in a while - illustrating mum's book and passing degree (I graduated yesterday with a 2.1 in Zoology so yay!) seem to have got in the way somewhat...

Personally, I like the eyes! Hated drawing the log though...

Thanking you Yea, logs/branches are bad...I prefer to draw mostly animals, with as little of its surroundings as possible!

Same here. If I have a bird sitting on a branch now, the branch usually stays sketchy.

Thanks I did this a while ago, but I've just tweaked the contrast so the scan looks more like the original, and I've cropped it as well
