Death with that mask looks like he is about to say : What in Creation you are fucking about Absalom?

Lol yup, my guess Absalom is trying explain him why they " need" slay whole nation insted of trying work with them and share the huge realm what would fit 2 nations in and Death is processing it all

Yeah. He's probably contemplating very hard to finally get outta there.
Grabbing his brethren on the way out.
That's one of the things I still don't understand. But hey....it's cannon.

Hey! I like it! Very nice look of Absalom and Death together, ESPECIALLY that this is pre-Corruption Absalom!!! VERY NICE!!! Just one thing is confusing me... Who's that in the upper right hand corner?

Ah okay! I apologize for not recognizing War before! And yes, I also agree that seeing how characters potentially interacted before the events of Darksiders 1&2 is a good thing to explore! That's why I liked Abomination Vault so much!

Agreed! And to be honest, I am dying to see on screen Strife and Fury and how they are portrayed... and actual on-screen interactions with War and Death!

Yo, really nice job here, as with the rest of your stuff! I especially like the not-sure-about-this Death expression. I wish Absalom (and let's face it, a lot of folks) got more screentime too, though it was especially absurd he was...actually just standing behind a door. Deadlines, me thinks.

You're welcome! And yeah, I thought were going to get a flashback battle with the Horsemen + angels vs. the rest of the Nephilim, but...only in our dreams, alas.
I...didn't think of it like that, ha, but definitely - guys, you just ruined this world. Why not stay there and build it to your liking? Why was Eden so important? I mean, in their first/pre-game comic book origin, their focus on Eden makes more sense, given the Nephilim were (in that story version) the Creator's first warriors whose cause was to combat 'the darkness,' so yeah, I can understand them feeling cheated when Eden was given to Man, but in their official game story...nah. Rampant assholes.
Are you planning to do more character studies like this?

THAT would've been an awesome and epic ending. Well, you never know what they'll be bringing up in the third game. There's still a problem left, though: Death resurrected humanity but....earth is still a mess, crawling with demons and angels fighting each other. How in the hell are they going to survive this? There's no way for the world to just transform back to normal like pushing a reset button.
I wasn't aware of that other nephilim-storyline. Was that in the comic that came with the Hellbook Edition? That would have made a lot more sense. At least, concerning their plans for Eden. The novel tells a different story, though. Especially with this over the top weaponry the nephilim created.
But what do we expect? The lore isn't even clear about where the nephilim came from. On the one hand, it's said that Lilith created them from the essences of angels and demons. But there's another theory that the nephilim supposedly are older than any of those species. Wha-?
I'd love to do more, especially Absalom and Draven.

I think there was some line about the 'seeds' of humanity being replanted, so maybe the Horsemen will split up and use that time to clear Earth of demons and talk sense to the angels? People'd still have nothing to eat and stuff, so...good job, Death.
I think it was, yeah. Vigil Games scrapped the Nephilim-original-warriors backstory for the of-angel-and-demon, belonging-to-none one. Then there's all the retconning regarding the Well of Souls (where it is, what it does and who/what can open it)...I mostly prefer how things were originally, I gotta say.
Cool! Looking forward to more.
