I figured it was time for me to show everyone why I haven't been participating in this month's events. I've been hard at work making this: a completely independent side story about Diago and his career as a R.A.P.T.O.R. agent.
I wanted to do this mainly for two reasons. One: in considering Diago's lack of respect for authority and his tendency not to consider the consequences of his actions, I came up with a funny idea for a short one-shot story that I just HAD to draw. Two: even though I could insert this story at any point in time regardless of future events, I still wanted to post this all before the DU got turned on it's head by another huge world-changing event.
After the events of the Freedom War, Christina Rogers is now the new supervisor of R.A.P.T.O.R. and doubtlessly has a big mess that's fallen on her to clean up. An insubordinate agent left over from William Lloyd's rule is probably the last thing she needs to waste her time dealing with right now. Unfortunately, Diago isn't going to make it any easier for her.

Now, I always suspected "assault with a deadly foam finger" was a real crime, and you might get me to believe in "statutory xenophobia," but you stretch the suspension of disbelief just a bit too far with "assault on a rodeo clown." That's just silly.
