Why I'd love to have a tutorial on how to get Arch Linux to look exactly (more or less) like this.
Even though I know the risks and I've read the wiki, just because of how Arch looks here, is the main reason why I'm switching from Ubuntu to Arch. Way too beautiful to be left aside.

This looks comfy, love the font love the panel, WM isn't bad but I reckon you could push the decoration there a little more. Wall looks A+ behind it all, very unobtrusive. Colours are good. What's the browser?
Summary: This config is a bit of a babe, but not in the tits, ass and eyes to make you hnnng kind of way that you'd give just enough sugar to get with and then move on. I'd prefer to sit in on a cold winters day with it, drink irish coffee and watch old movies. A keeper.

Ubuntu puts you in a box from the get go.
On the other hand, Arch makes you build the box yourself. If you've not touched UNIX before I'd suggest starting with something a little less hardcore, like #! linux (google it) and going from there, you have to set up pretty much everything except GNUcoreutils. Good fun, not for newbies. Go read the arch wiki and decide for yourself though.

Not necessarily, you just need to download the iso and install it. Archlinux.org should have all the info you need on their wiki and elsewhere, but getting set up can take quite a while if you don't know what you're doing.
