Description Lady Winter is Elizabeth Emory, the heiress of a multi-billion dollar industrial corporation, Winter Inc., and fortune built up by her father and grandfather. In public she puts on the persona of a vapid, unintelligent celebrity in the same fashion as Paris Hilton, but behind the obfuscated stupidity she is in fact a cold, calculating woman who keeps a close-eye on her possessions, even if she leaves the actual management of her company to its board of directors. Her stint as a superhero was initially a publicity stunt, meant to alleviate her near-constant boredom and give her some excitement fitting with her public persona. After gaining her powers via a formula developed for her by company scientists, she quickly found out that being a superhero was more difficult than it looked, and if not for the intervention of Justrix, her career might've been cut short. The duo formed a partnership, and together conceived the idea that would become SHE. Her position as owner of Winter Inc. means SHE has a near unlimited source of money to fund itself with, and Lady Winter's devious cunning has proved very useful at times, though she tries to hide this side of herself from the rest of the team.

Its like Azula from Avatar if she was hiding in the person/body of her friend Ty Lee!(and had ice powers!)

Wouldn't know. Not a fan of Avatar, aside from some of the really cool fights I've seen online. Hell, I even skipped over Jab's series of entries about the series. It just falls into that same category of stuff that I don't like like Runaways and Young Justice.

I like that origin story- succinct and with some clever, unusual bits for a superhero ("Vapidity As Cover Story" is usually used for wealthy playboy types, not braindead heiresses). I always dig the "I got into it for kicks, but this is actually really tough" thing.

The vapidity thing just makes sense- I mean, we got Paris Hilton and the Kardasians running around, how come we don't have heroines doing what Batman does but in relation to celebs like that? It only makes sense. And the whole "ok, this is a lot more than I thought it was gonna be" thing is a pretty universal situation, and very few would be able to get into heroics easily or quickly as they often do in comics.
