she's adorbs,i actually got inspired to make a creature based of of this but less smooth and more like a "creepy" version of this cute little creature, course ima do it in drawing form, since i don't have zbrush anymore ,not to mention my computer can barely handle anything 3d
(i used to have zbrush and blender but my computer couldn't handle, the complexity of my beutiful, babs i created, and i ran out of available space so i made the grave mistake of deleting ALL of my creations, never agian, mayber someday ill actualy be able to re do all my creatures, someday)

Except for the lack of either claws or hooves, it makes me think of a cross between a deer and a dragon!
By the way, I don't know if you are aware or not, but Pixologic now has a companion program for "ZBrush" in the works called "Sculptris". You can get the trial version for free from their site. I've been playing around with it and while I can't say I like it's "Paint" mode, it works great for 3D sculpting! pointed it out to me around the beginning of last month.

Too bad ZBrush costs so much, the only reason I could get Sculptris was the fact it is free... >.<

Good luck! I hope nothing comes up that makes you spend it before you have enough. (ex. car repairs)

cool creature, i like it. Your texture work is good too. my only suggestion is that you give it feet or hoofs, it looks unfinished with them the way they are. Cheers, and happy sculpting.

Maybe a color shift could help as well. Making them look like they are hard and support her weight. I look forward to seeing more from you.

Very lovely and interesting. What will the book be about, if I may ask?

Now THAT is something I very much look forward to! When are you thinking it will be available?
I found your subsurface scattering tutorial very useful so I would be verrry excited to see a full book by you - please include fur!
Are you doing it as a 2D or 3D guide? or a mixture? x x

Ahh thank you! It was my first attempt at rendering out of ZBrush (or at all, really) and for a quick first attempt, I like the way it came out! Needs a better pose and some environment next, methinks...

Creature looks great.
Have you thought about putting Daphne in a nice place?
Could use your fave 2d app and add this picture to a forest scene.
Had a picture in my head of this creature at a jewelry store buying another necklace.

It would be something that complemented her scale pattern.
Maybe something that would work with a leopard skin pattern.
What jewelry would you wear if you were wearing a fake animal print or
a blouse with the same colors?
I would guess maybe something gold and square/rectangular.
Something tasteful and understated, the total opposite of bling.
Maybe they have pictures of models online for reference.
My issue of Vicoria Secret did not arrive yet.

It looks so cute and evil at the same time! Almost like what the Serpent would have looked like had God not taken his legs away in the Garden of Eden.

Hahaha... the front view of it looks really evil because the eyebrow bit is really heavy, but from the side, looks quite cute!
