Description
This was a request made by ~NBbowler . He wanted me to draw Malon flirting with Link, and he told me to make it so that Link would react to said flirting in a positive way. I hope this is what he had in mind. Please comment, thank you. ^_^Navi, Link, and Malon © Nintendo

Yes, but one must realize that Link essentially skipped 7 years of his life, with the mental developments that would bring.

While that is true, the male hormones will still be there. Thus making things even MORE confusing and potentially awkward for him!
However, he may not be as mentally underdeveloped as some people would be led to believe due to the fact that life endangering situations have a tendency to force people mature at an accelerated rate, and Link gets into a LOT of those. The only side-effect of such a large amount of forced maturity would be lots and LOTS of psychological trauma!

Oh yes, but Link's such a stoic that it doesn't seem to bother him as much. And yes, it would mature him, but not socially in the way of relationships and interaction. The kid was raised by eternal 10 year old children, so it's likely he doesn't really have huge knowledge about relationships.

While you do have your point concerning relationship knowledge, I will question the stoic part because Link's personality largely up to interpretation.
The reason why Link's personality is mostly up to interpretation is because Link is actually the players' "link" to the game Legend of Zelda. His personality is what you make of it. This is why he never says anything. (the yes or no responses do not count)
This is why I believe that the Link in this picture is both confused and very awkward. His lack of relationship knowledge is making it very difficult for him to understand what the heck Malon is doing. His adult hormones are telling him something he doesn't understand because he is a 10 year old in a 17 year old body, thus making the situation even MORE confusing, embarrassing, and awkward for him. Hence the reason why he's blushing.

That's pretty much it. I tend to interpret Ocarina of Time Link as a bit more stoic than the others, mainly because his default face for much of the game is a frown. But yeah, that's more or less spot on.
