Poor Shaunus is having a bad day as he walks sluggishly into the cave. Rain who has been in the cave for a while looks up and sees Shaun's dejection, she gets up and asks what is wrong. Shaun glances up at her then looks back down quickly saying "It's nothing.". Rain thinks otherwise and after some gentle coaxing he finally tells her. He recalls everything that has gone wrong for him today and Rain listens to him intently. She then has an idea on how to cheer him up. Beckoning him to her she opens her arms and steps forward then wraps her arms around him and hugs him. Shaunus is surprised at the gesture then slowly returns the embrace. Shaunus stays there as Rain rubs his head and soothes him making the day's gripes and worries slide away. He is relieved by Rain's warm soft fur and because his head is in he middle of her chest, her steady soft breathing and rhythmic heartbeat which he can feel as her chest expands and contracts along with the drum-like beats of her heart which seem like fleeting kisses to him. All of this things placates him and he lets out a relieved sigh.

No I'm not. I just used the picture to make up a story based on what I saw. I also imagined what events would lead up to the picture. So I guess by reading the picture I also read your thoughts by accident. I did that to another DeviantARTist when I wrote a short story for her picture
