Coloured pencils, finished 10th August 2018.
Ysera, the Emerald Dragon, the Queen of Dreams is a mystical figure from World of Warcraft who can take two shapes - dragon or night elf. She is the green Dragon Aspect, who was charged with the protection of the Emerald Dream, but also watched over Azeroth. To the druids, she was known as the "mother" of Cenarius, but since she is a dragon, this is not literal.
In between packing and painting and generally preparing to move to our new home, I had two quiet evenings and an afternoon to work on this one. I'm happy it's finished!

just color pencils?! I'm trying to get on your level. this is beautiful. I like how your lines are just light and dark (if that makes any sense) they aren't hard. I have a hard time with that.Β

Thank you very much, Jasmine! Much credit should go also to the colour pencils I used (Derwent), which blend and layer on top of each other so smoothly. It helps to have good tools.
In case you haven't yet, it may help you too to invest in some quality pencils. I'd be happy to give a bit more info if you have questions, maybe my experience will be of use.

Thank you, I would appreciate the help. I've been using regular pencil and those children's 24 piece crayola pencil set because I recently figured out I know how to draw lol. I'll look into upgrading my pencils and paper. But i think I'm gonna need classes for the technical things
