More fanart of Birdo because there CERTAINLY isn't enough of her. Don't bug me about the gender or say goodbye to your comment. XP Anyways, I used a different coloring technique for this particular pic. And yes I still colored it on Gimp but the fabulous inking was done on Illustrator. Enjoy

Now that I think about it, since I like your Kirby style so much, you'd probably draw Starlow so cute too. owo If you don't know who she is, she looks similar to Kirby, without the hands. xD

I know her, she's from one of my favourite Mario games, because of Bowser's huge role in it. :'D And I looove Starlow. I actually drew her before, back when I was using the touchpad/trackpad (in similiar style to these -warning, terrible fan art form 2010 ahead- [link] + I still have some old speedpaintings of these ahahah oh god |D I remember that Sack Plant took hours of hard work o.O [link] ), but I can't find the picture anywhere. :c Maybe I didn't save it or something. xDD

Sweet! I used to draw bird characters a lot actually. xD I had so many bird OCs its not even funny. I really need to get around to drawing birds again. You're great at drawing wings. I like the technique you use. :3 Prepare yourself for anatomy too.Lol If you are gonna bash yourself with how you draw it, have fun while your at it because to grasp anatomy takes many years of practice. The longer you draw the subject, the better you will get.
My anatomy used to be the worst, it wasn't till I started drawing Bowser and the human Mario characters when I started to get the hang of it. :3 Bowser is what got me into anthro though. Then again, anatomy doesn't always have to look perfect. It really depends on the style you are going for. There are so many different art styles, you can't always assume that something is being drawn the wrong way. xD I am sure you know that though. owo

Augh. Human anatomy is probably the hardest to master. At least for me because I hate humans. xD I guess it all depends on one's preferences.
Anyways, I'm not aiming for my art /or anatomy/ to be perfect, I always draw things just for fun.

anyways, you can count on me not bugging you about brido's nationality problem (you know what I mean) since we both have the same idea on witch gender she is so, oh BTW AC is coming along (I'm about to do an official report in my journals) and allready got volumes one, two, four, five, & seven complete, and working on three-also fine tuning six a little bit-oh, and BTW there will be some sad moments-really sad moments, and also happy moments that might make some people shed a happy tear. and anyways-nice drawing

Like what was the brush you used for the outline and what kind of texture did you use for her skin?

I actually used a brush specifically used for hair. xDD I also used that same brush for the grass. And like I said before, I inked it on Illustrator. So any fancy brushes I use for inking, most of the time I used it from that program. Everything else I colored in gimp. If you use PS, I am sure they have hair brushes that you can use for something like this. I just decreased and increased the opacity for coloring Birdo while picking different shades of color. Not to mention I sometimes used the fade out effect to have a more natural feel for mixing with different colors. I hope this answers your questions. ^_^
