Well, here goes another one: this is the storyboard for my next short short film for my Animation class this year. We had to choose between two themes, "Inside the Mirror" or "The Disturbing Joy of Falling". It's obvious which one I chose.

Hopefully it's clear enough to you. After that charcoal mess I just made, I want to make sure everything goes smoothly for this one since--for once!--the technique is not imposed. I want to go back to my roots and make a fully drawn animation like I used to do. I might try traditional colouring, though, like gouache or watercolours or whatnot. I'll see.

It'll be fairly short, I'm guessing under a minute... which would allow me more time to focus on the quality of the animation. Yay!

Oh hey! I forgot to mention--I did this while being TOTALLY sick. I had forced myself to go to school to do it despite a fever and killer headaches. I had to take several pauses to go lie down on the couch (we have a couch in the animation studio) and it took me all day. That would explain why I wrote "argh" at the end...
