Here's a piece of fanart for one of my favorite Mainframe series, Shadow Raiders/War Planets. It was originally a toy line that became a TV show, and has some of the most badass character designs and engaging story lines I've seen.These are the four main leaders of the series. Graveheart, the leader of the Alliance for planet rock (although he's not a king...just a miner...
). King Cyros from Planet ice, the brains of the Alliance and the voice of reason. Prince Pyrus of Planet Fire, fangirl favorite and overall really nice/outgoing person. And Emperor Femur, ruler of Planet Bone and general shit-stirrer (and MY favorite character 
)Prolly shoulda put some of the girls in here (JADE AND TEKLA WOOOO), but it was hard enough to get just THIS done with the computer on the fritz. Maybe something for the future...?

with the exceptions of king cryos and graveheart, this could be a depiction of the wh40 chaos gods. feemur looks just like either a plague bearer or nurgle and pyrus could pass for khorne because of how fast he chooses to fight.good job keeping the memory of this epic series alive in your art. may the gods bless you.

I'm extremely fond of this show, absolutely one of the best cartoons I have ever watched. Dealt with some pretty real world issues...so rare to see something of that caliber in our current cartoons :[

Graveheart & Cyros look rather strange posed like that...
It would have made more sense to include Jade instead of Graveheart in that drawing. Seeing as she was declared ruler of planet Rock in the last episode.
BTW, Graveheart is more like the chairman of the alliance rather than it's leader.

I revamped some of the characters last year for a Design assignment in my last year of highschool. One of these days, someone has to take up the series and finish it. So pissed they just left it unfinished

Graveheart was always MY fangirl favorite! X3 Oo hoo! I really loved all the characters. Femur's viceroy or whatever he was always ticked me off, the conniving little jerk face!

I'm just a miner... dude, you stoped a war between 4 planets and save them and a few others from and evil planet-eating... planet; you are NOT just a miner. I think there's a recap episode where Jade calls him on that.
I loved that show; although, I always wondered where did life and technology came from in those planets if they needed each other so much (y'know food from Bone, water from Ice, and stuff); how did they manage before inventing space travel?

Love the show... not the must original when it came to names (of the planets and characters) but still a good show.
As you said "Prince Pyrus... overall really nice/outgoing person". I was always happy they didn't make him into the "young-punk" of the group.
