Description surely pear trees wouldn't be in fruit at christmas, or are we talking about the decorative mini kind you can keep indoors? do they even exist? and wouldn't they be too small for a partridge? all these questions is exactly why I probably *should've* deviated from such a boring traditional rendering of this well known festive image. but i wanted to try out a new watercolour technique and also learn to draw a partridge...
