I was trying to describe to a friend the effect caffeine has on me - an almost trippy, buzzy hit that exaggerates whatever I'm feeling and puts it on fast forward, until I reach a sort of hummingbird oblivion...Fun, as long as I'm in a good mood...

"Hummingbird oblivion" *chuckles* I really like the ring of that phrase. I also really the style of this painting, with the bright colors and the strong use of black ink. It's so funny and wacked out — I just love it. Reminds me a lot of seeing pictures when I was very small, and having to look two or three times to figure out what they are about.
So, thanks for sending me on a short, fun trip down memory lane!

The hummingbirds are wonderful... first I thought they were just fuzzy... but immediately I realized how great you rendered their way of flying...
I would imagine your painting printed on stuff like blankets and sheets...it would look great!
