Well buddy, it's fair and all that you are going around saying that people are just jumping on the band wagon and all just for page views. But it's not fair to say that anyone who has made something in support of jark is just doing it for the popularity. I have been a member of this site for 2 years now. I have 350 pageviews and only 1 deviantwatch and I watch about 6 people and a dozen favorites. I could care less about the popularity. If I was here for the popularity my page would look more like the majority of deviantart. I would have 400 favorites and watch many more. I'm not here to be popular. I appreciate comments and favorites and the pageviews but I honestly don't judge myself on that. I could have 400000 or 0 and would still feel the same way about my art. Now in the case of my SAVEJARK piece I don't know him personally. But I do know enough to know that without him this community where I spend my time browsing other artists work meeting people and displaying my own art would not exist. And honestly I believe that not only am I protesting the removal of Jark but also the direction deviantart is heading in. Deviantart's emphasis on community is rapidly decreasing and it has to be turned around. It's a shame that it took the removal of someone as important as Jark to finally get people to realize it, but it is time to fix it. And we have a chance to speak up for the change and that's what we are going to do.

So... You are right about many poeple who have been doing this just for pageviews and it's a shame that they are doing that. People who have been a member of the site for like 5 days and not even knowing what the hell is going on and making something makes no sense. They are the ones who are doing it for popularity.

But honestly if you feel I still am someone that is just "jumping on the band wagon" then fine because I could care less.

And Demonomania I hope you realize that not everyone is doing this for popularity and that some people really do care about this community.
