Description Carved this Thursday night , its a carving that has been on my table for about 2 years just in the drawing stage and im really trying to get some stuff done and back into real work. I am mostly happy with it but I just feel Rusty at carving still ,as I said trying to work out the kinks and get back into it

i was given a few pieces by a friend to try out .

That was nice of them, I'm just confused because mammoths are a little bit extinct

ya just a little bit but their teeth :ie the tusks are not. many of them still exist and can be found in Alaska and Siberia or where ever they roamed some only in pieces but some still whole and very usable. These larger pieces can be bought and used at a relatively reasonable cost depending on the quality of the speciman.
