Lol, I've thought about it but I don't think it's something that'd I would do well with! I guess I just don't think much of my work is good enough for a print account! I'll definitely think about it tho!

Yeah, it is hard to sell on DA because there's so main poor artist but some people have said that they do well ordering their prints/mugs etc of their own artwork and then selling them at a conventions or fair ect. I might do that if I ever get a booth at a convention or something.

I actually never thought about it that way! That's a really good point and something I'll definitely consider myself! It's certainly way cheaper than getting it printed yourself!

I like the linelessness of this, but I'm not too sure about the wings. The parts closest to the foreground are amazingly detailed, but the parts more in the background look really blurry. It's a strange contrast. I like how the blood came out here, and how the cigarette is all crumpled up, like an accordian. His eyes look really great too. The coloring is very nice. The tattoos don't look bad at all. Nice hair as well. It's fairly detailed, and the shine is done well.

I really like the design of this! It's rather well rendered from one end to another.
I really hope you're happy with the wings because they are beautifully done! It really shows you put a lot of effort into making them. Also, even if you don't like the hair, I think your render came out well. I think it might be simply the hair color, compared to the rest of the pic that might come as odd a little. I might have played with a blueish grey then a salt and pepper one, considering the purple wings and the blue tattoos. Might have had the eyes stick out even more that way

Very cool colouring style...the wings and feathers look amazing, the shading is beautiful and all...as his expression and those eyes...but maybe the wings shouldn't be right up on his head, it looks a little odd there, also the cig looked a little strange in this context, but overall it's a really sweet pic. Good colouring style indeed.

Ok, first I absoloutely love those purple wings on him, the detail on them is sooo totally awsome especially those two little rainbow coloured ones, that so cool.
I really like how you did his hair too ..... it kinda flows you know? 
That tatoo on his....uh...left shoulder is really detailed, your soo cool! How did you do that?

But I have to agree with you about the hair. It doesn't look the best colored this way... why not mingle two styles of coloring together? You could cel-shade the hair the way you always do, but also trying to blend in with the rest of it.
I also thought that comparing to the rest of the drawing, his skin seems to be lacking contrast.

I think perhaps next time I will try and collaborate both the styles together, but for the time being, I can't bring myself to work on it. Very frustrating piece!

The bloodsplat was cool; mmm... You need to somehow blend the wings on the head so they don't look so over imposed. The tatoo is alright but needs to be a bit darker so it doesn't get lost in the background. A couple of details here and there; but a magnificient work nevertheless...

I agree with the wing comment 100%, and plan on blending that a big better! They really do look out of place! I'll see what I can do with the tattoo but I may just ignore it for this piece... I spent so much time doing this that I'm almost sick of it...
Yeah... long time no see! I've been hiding for quite a while! Just been hacking away at a webcomic and trying to get things ready to go... far more time consuming than I thought... and I'm also doing quite a bit of free lance design so I'm finding less and less time for personal artwork...

I wouldn't change a thing. But I WILL say one thing, and this is TOTALLY IMO, so don't take it to heart.
I don't enjoy the cigarette. Everything else seems so other-wordly, while the cigarette grounds him. I probably would of done w/out it. Also, the bottom detail and his tattoo seem to be competing with each other, and are a little much on the eyes.
Otherwise, I LOVE his wings. And Dekar, because he is teh sex0r. <3
