Description .: FULLVIEW A MUST! :.
Her sword whirling in the air, the abominations kept coming at her, creeping out of the night...
...or something like that. Actually, it's just me having playtime trying out the new Photoshop CS. Mmmmm...scrumptious! The airbrush handles WAY better!

very nice piece. in photoshop, did you do this with a wacom tablet?

Yep, done with a Wacom. Never leave home without.
But seriously, a Wacom is absolutely indispensable when you're working in Photoshop. Best spent money I ever...well...spent.

Heh heh heh. Ever sence my girlfriend got that "Zombie Survival Guide." She's been ready for the hords of the undead to leap forth in the worst of ways to take over the weak in man kind...

So, anyways. When I saw that pic, I thought of my girlfriend kicking decomposing ass just like that. Only, I would be in the back screaming like a girl and waving my arms at them, maybe my wave's gust will keep them at bay... Eh...

Great job! I really like the lighting and the blue ink use... Then there's your wonderful attention to detail.

The sketchiness definitely adds to the action going on in the piece.
I must agree, however, that there is a bit of something feminine lacking in her face, and overall shape of the body.
But that's what we're here for... to point this stuff out and give our opinions. I LOVE the monochromatic choice for this, and it's definitely a wonderful piece of work. Nice job. ^_^

I love the shading, the pose, the composition and all, but there is one little thing...

It doesn't really look a whole lot like a 'her' - or atleast, not to me.

There's just something distinctly masculine about the face - it could just be the dirty, sketchy look that does it, but I'm not really sure I like how it is... I think the jaw is too strong and wide - her head, overall, looks kind of over-sized compared to the body. The area around the eyes is too dark and blocky, and her eye-brows look too thick for a (stereotypical) girl, and the dark shdow in-between the brows doesn't help a whole lot there.

I think her lips and the side of her face are maybe a little too strongly shaded too, almost gives her an un-shaven kind of look

Other than that, maybe experiment with bringing her right hip out a little wider, and giving her more ass... I think it'd work the look a little better

Other than that, I absolutely LOVE the dude getting slashed in half, and -Hey! Wait a tic! Does the forground dude have my avatar on his back!?

Great work, I hope my critique helps a little

Points well taken. Thanks for taking the time to point them out. I have a revised version in the works.

*takes a look at your avatar* Lol, yes it does look like something like your avatar has snuck itself in! Dunno why exactly why, but that particular smiley has a tendency to sneak itself into my drawings sometimes. Other example: [link] Lol, what are the chances!
