Fire, it is the element of power and sometimes symbolizes rage and anger as well as one’s will and determination. It is a neutral element as fire helps create life but also has the power to destroy it, we need the heat of the sun to survive and if a fire starts or isn’t controlled in will burn everything in its path. Fire is the combining elements of creation, destruction, and transformation. Fire can be difficult to control but today these two hotheads are masters at fire manipulation;

Axel, Organization XIII’s Flurry of Dancing Flames

Vs

K’, Leader of the Hero Team

But put them together in a battle to the death... who will be victorious?

Battle of the Flames!

Axel – 8th member of Organization 13. The world of Kingdom Hearts is really hard to follow so I’ll explain this the best I can; Before Organization 13 or Sora’s and Aqua’s story begins there was a boy named Xehanort who for some reason aimed to one day reset the universe and control everything. Xehanort actually figures out how to achieve his plan, the only problem is that by the time he does he’s too old to see his plans into action. His solution was to transfer his soul into a young Key Blade wielder in training Terra. Realizing that to achieve his plan he needs to be at multiply places at once, Xehanort manages to split himself as two individuals; a Heartless named Ansem and a Nobody named Xemnas. Ansem is a Heartless, mindless beings of darkness but since Xehanort separated his heart from his body and soul before he gave into the darkness Ansem retained his self-hood and intelligence after his transformation into a Heartless. Xemnas is a Nobody, who are the body and soul of a strong-willed individual who has lost their heart making them unable to feel emotions yet contain the memories they had when they were alive. Nobodies are monsters but those with the strongest willpower are able to retain human form when they become Nobodies. While Ansem was tasked to capture the Seven Princesses of Heart, Xemnas was tasked to create and gather members of Organization XIII to eventually have them become vessels for Xehanort. One of these members we’ll be focusing today is the 8th member who is known as The Flurry of Dancing Flames, Axel. Before Axel became a Nobody he was once a boy named Lea. Lea hailed from the world known as Radiant Garden, where he spent his days with his best friend Isa. One-day Lea and Isa broke into Ansem the Wise's castle (different character), unfortunately they found old Xehanort who was unlocking the hearts of others for his plan to gather twelve empty vessels to house fragments of his heart. Xehanort had removed both Lea and Isa’s hearts and were turned into Nobodies. After becoming Nobodies they were recruited into Organization XIII with different names, Isa became Saix and Lea became Axel. While the two joined the ranks of the Organization the two formulated a plan to regain their lost hearts. This all changed when Axel started to befriending Sora’s Nobody Roxas who resembled Lea’s friend Ventus. These chain of events ended Axel's friendship with Saix as he eventually left the Organization and later sacrificed himself to protect Sora even though at that point Roxas was already merged with Sora. However Axel is restored, somehow, and becomes a Key Blade Master to help Sora fight against Xehanort (Confused? It’s okay I’m still confused as well). During his time in Organization XIII, Axel wields two Chakrams called the Enternal Flames and had the ability to summon and manipulate fire. Chakrams are actually small razor-edged throwing disks that were used by warriors in ancient India, however Axel's Chakrams are more resemblance to the Chinese wind-and-fire wheels, wheel-shaped weapons that are used strictly as melee weapons. He can summon pillars of flames at will and strike with rapid combos using his Chakrams, he can also surround his Chakrams in flames and throw them like boomerangs, spinning and looping them to hit his opponents multiple times. He can absorb and is immune to fire. During his fight with Roxas in Kingdom Hearts II he summons a circle of fire to surround them so Roxas can’t escape and during the battle he leaps into the flames to hide then emerging to strike with rapid attacks and then leaps back to keep him off guard. Axel can cloak his Chakrams in flames and throw them and when he hits his target he can either engulf them in fire or create a powerful explosion like remote detonation. Axel has a Limit Break called Explosion, Limit Break is basically an ultimate attack or a special attack that unleashes tremendous power. During Explosion, Axel throws his Chakrams at enemies while they're engulfed in fire, creating a small explosion of fire afterwards. While not being thrown, Axel's Chakrams spin rapidly gathering fire and can be thrown at any time, and do not need to charge. Axel's Final Limit he combines his two flaming Chakrams into one enormous flaming Chakram and hurls it creating an immense explosion. He has control of all lesser Nobodies and even control the Heartless. His robe like the rest of the Organization gives him the ability to open a portal known as the "Corridor of Darkness", which lets him travel into the Realm of Darkness and go to any worlds. In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance Axel acquires a flame style Key Blade of his own which is currently unnamed and what he can do without is also currently unknown. Axel is a powerful member of the Organization, probably one of its better fighters; had the willpower to keep his human form when becoming a Nobody, was a spy for the Organization to hunt down the traitors at Castle Oblivion, defeated and capture Xion twice who had much of Roxas power, saved Sora by killing and army of Nobodies (this killed him though), help Riku and King Mickey get Sora back from Xehanort and the True Organization XIII, killed Vexen just by snapping his fingers, and dueled evenly with Marluxia. Axel’s strong but has flaws; he is vulnerable to ice attacks which is weird since fire melts ice and Vexen specialized in Ice magic, putting his whole being in an attack will cause him to fade away, if Axel is stunned or hit with enough force his flames will go out, and while he is intelligent he is also very arrogant.

“My show now, Keyblade Master! Who am I? Oh, my name's Axel. Got it memorized?”

K’ – violent pyrokinetic fighter from King of Fighters. K’ (his real name unknown but it’s pronounced “Kay-Dash” ) was once a normal child who lived happily with his sister Seirah, until one day they were captured by NESTS, a crime syndicate who dealt with drugs, genetics, robotics and biotechnology. This scientific crime syndicate kept K’ to train him to be some kind of weapon, but Seirah was killed unfortunately but secretly NESTS made a clone of Seirah named Whip (Why idk and maybe if I find a match for her we’ll learn more about her story). In 1998, K' was chosen to participate in the Kusanagi cloning program where he was infused with Kyo Kusanagi's DNA, who is the current heir of the Kusanagi clan. The experiment was a success and just like the Kusanagi clan, K’ now has the power of pyrokinesis. You’d think now that he has fire powers he’d take revenge and bust himself out right? Nope, during the program K's memory was tinkered with and he was made to believe that he was Krizalid's clone, who is a clone of Kyo Kusanagi. Any real memories from his past has either been erased by NESTS, forgotten, or repressed. Under NESTS orders, he and a few others became the Hero Team and joined the King of Fighters tournament, a martial arts competition where fighters from all over the world are invited to participate, no limitations, weapons are allowed, basically anyone who can fight is welcomed. K’s team makes it to the finals and are sent to a base where Krizalid waits for them as he poses as the tournament's host and fights them to gather their battle data. Krizalid hoped to use the data he gathers to activate the thousands of listless Kyo clones around the globe, this Kyo guy is really popular huh? However, K' defeats him and the team learns that Krizalid was merely a pawn for NESTS and Krizalid is executed by his superior. The base collapses, K' is separated from his team and they are hunted down by the Ikari squad, a mercenary group. K’ and his team survive the ambush and continue their resistance by leaving the organization, K’ starts getting flashbacks and now seeks to find a way to regain his lost memories. K’ has a very serious personality but is very easy to enrage due to his more high-strung side. He mostly pulls off the tough guy attitude, he is hardly polite and is always gruff, even to those close to him. K's fighting style is best described as "Pure Violence", but it has several similarities with Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do. He even uses some of Bruce Lee’s famous moves like the One inch punch, Flying Kicks, and even the JKD side kick. K’s fighting style ranges from violent elbow strikes, enraged battle cries, and even resorting to throw his sunglasses at his foe and following up with a beatdown, no holds barred. His fighting style is even worse when he adds his pyro abilities, he can throw fireballs, create fire walls, surround himself with fire, can make people explode by touching them, and can teleport flame style. The dudes brutal fighting style has certainly got him far, not only did he defeat Krizalid but he’s also defeated a clone of Zero one of NESTS highest rank officers, finds Whip and joins her to destroy NESTS which they do, saved the world and defeated Igniz who was some psycho who wanted to become a god, and defeated Mukai who has the ability to fossilize things and manipulate the Earth around him, and throughout the majority of the series his team always make it to the finals or even win the King of Fighters tournament. K’ is not to mess with, but for someone so powerful he can be lazy and has a bad temper. K’ technically isn’t in full control of his infused pyro abilities, he wears a special glove that keeps his power under control so if the glove was to be teared or taken off he would have a hard time controlling his flames, also apparently he hates sweets and exercising?

“Isn't there anyone here worthy of fighting me?”

Who do you think will win?

Axel belongs to Square Enix

K’ belongs to SNK

Oh boy, this is certain to be an explosive battle for sure. Glad to see one of my favorite Kingdom Hearts characters here, and it was interesting checking out what K' can do. That bit where they tampered with his brain sort of makes me think of what could have happened if Weapon X had succeeded in employing that correctly against Wolverine. But enough about that little aside. Let's get down to this analysis.
Round 1: Physicality-This is pretty simple to call. K' is clearly no slouch physically, but Axel has shown that he can contend physically with Sora, and we have to remember that this is Sora in Kingdom Hearts 2, when he became more powerful. Plus, that guy's willpower is incredible; I'd say he'd make a good Green Lantern, but anyway. I'm not so sure if K' could hold out against an assault like the kind Sora can dish out for long, so I must conclude that he is outclassed here. Axel gets the physical edge.
Round 2: Powers-When it comes to their respected powers, it looks to me like Axel and K' have similar abilities. Where they differ is in Axel's Limit Breaks and K's teleportation and exploding powers. K's exploding powers do work similarly to Axel's Limit Breaks, but he'd have to touch Axel first, and Axel wouldn't be dumb enough to let that happen. Meanwhile, Axel's Limit Breaks are far more devastating and hit a target from a distance. So the only power K' has that might give him a chance to hold out is teleportation, but that just feels like a delay of the inevitable. To make matters worse for K' is he's still learning to control his powers while Axel seems to have more control over his. Therefore, I am confident he has the best chance in overwhelming his opponent before it happens the other way around. Axel gets the edge for his powers.
Round 3: Tactics-This is the only round that I consider to be remotely close. While both of these fighters are smart in their own right, it doesn't seem like strategy is really their game. And it really calls into question: which of them has a more degrading flaw: Axel, with his arrogance? Or K', with his hot temper. While both of these traits can bring down the mightiest of warriors, personality traits also pay a big factor. And in that regard, I favor Axel. He might have a lot of pride in his abilities, but he still put them to good use against a wide variety of foes. By contrast, while K' has done more of the same, his lazy attitude and bad temper can seriously come back to bite him in the ass, and if Axel figures out about the power of his gloves, he's going to be in deeper trouble. Axel gets the slight edge for his tactics.
Final Verdict:
I think it's pretty obvious who I'm siding with here. While I don't see this fight ending right away, the longer it goes on, the more I see it favoring Axel. The tricky part is trying to figure out who would strike first, or if they would just charge at the same time and meet in the middle. Let's say they do that. I imagine a lot of exploding fire would go all over the place. When the smoke clears, Axel would be standing exactly where he was before while K' would have been knocked back a few paces. While he's momentarily stunned, Axel would most likely take advantage of this and go in to gain the upper hand. At this stage of the fight though, I don't think he'd be inclined to go all out just yet, as his love of a good fight would make him curious to see what K' is bringing to the table. K' would take a few hits, but he would still rally and try to counter attack. Axel does his best to dodge K's fireballs and firewalls while doing his best to keep up his offensive. Eventually, he would succeed in doing this, and when he does, he'd bring more of his true power to bear, scoring more hits on K', though his cocky attitude would allow K' to score a few hits of his own, but Axel would still hold off against the worst of the assault. After narrowly avoiding a strike from Axel's Chakrams, K' would probably be getting really pissed off and want to end the conflict now to rid himself of the irritation Axel is causing him. He'd then proceed to try and touch Axel so he can make him explode. However, Axel might not know what K' is up to, but he'd do everything to avoid physical contact. K' would take advantage of this evasive and eventually accomplish his task and set off an explosion. However, Axel would still be standing, albeit he'd be more battered this time. Now seeing he has to get this over with right away, he'd elect to use his Limit Break Explosion, which would engulf much of the battlefield around them. Assuming K' survives this attack, he's going to be in seriously bad shape, and Axel will know it. What's more, if K's gloves get taken out at this stage, he'll have a harder time controlling his pyro abilities. Axel wouldn't fail to notice this, and would therefore kick his efforts up to an eleven and use his final Limit Break. K' would see that Axel is about to perform his final attack and try teleporting, but it would do him little good, as Axel will be weary of his tricks and track him down as best he can before unleashing the full power of his Final Limit Break, which would not leave enough left of K' to place into a matchbox.
I declare Axel the winner.

Well, it's been fun giving you my thoughts. I hope you find them interesting. I also hope I didn't exaggerate Axel or downplay K'. I really did my best to represent them both as well as I possibly could. If I misinterpreted anything, don't hesitate to tell me. Still, I do think that judging on all the information provided, Axel has the best chance of coming out on top. And lastly, can't wait for next time. I bet it'll look epic.

Reading this felt like a psychology report lol but I agree with you, but Axel would not know about K' explosive touch but he will try to avoid him either way.
