Description I BOUGHT ZBRUSH!!!!111! I fell in love with this program while testing it's trial some time ago, and I just had to have it. Saving money took me about 1,5 year, but here it it!

Rendered in zbrush and composed in PS. What more can I say? Enjoy!

Wow.  Okay, this is awesome.

The texturing is phenomenal.  I can see every skin pore and blood vessel!  All those wispy hairs, the wrikles, the hands.

I love how you framed the pose, makeing it look like it's going to start moving any second.  This is amazing.

Thank you!
It's relieving that someone likes the pose. I had much more ambitious ideas, but those were cut short by the model itself. I just couldn't make it cooperate, so I took more minimalistic approach and just mowed arm and legs, as if it was walking.
Be sure to check the another render of this model I did today. It is far more flattering for it.

I like the feather and his tinny lil aire. That is one wierd creature.

Yea, Zbrush is one dang good sculpting tool. You 're really luck
I'll admit, I prefer mudbox, but thats only becoz I like to do texture and UV.

I heard of Mudbox, but never tried it. Does it offer anything that Zbrush doesn't have?
Zbrush has option to make uv out of really high poly models, if you have lower subdivisions. Every part of this model has UV, albedo and normals assigned, ready to be exported. I only polypainted it in base colors, the detailed textures and then normals were exported and then repainted in PS.

Well, its from Adobe. Its not bad at sculpting, but its not excellent neither. Its main strengh is texturing, creating shading and reflection on the surface. You can directly import your modelization from Maya to Mudbox. The software also accept Zbrush modelization, but they must be in fdx format.
There is some tools and option for sculpting, but its not perfect.

Instead of painting in photoshop, you can directly paint on the 3d object/characters. I think there is a way to do Uvs on it, but we didn't touched it a lot in school, since we were doing UVs on Maya.

So, its more a 3D texturing software.

This creature is so ugly and yet so cute

But seriously, this is a great sculpt! I could never get the hang of it myself.

Sculpting is easy. Really it's child's play compared to painting. You don't have to worry about perspective or symmetry or if lighting is always accurate. I love it!

Ugly yet cute? That's exactly what I wanted to do here
