Well, I've gone off and done it again: made another pixel instead of working on my other art that I keep talking about
I need to fix that little problem....Anyway, this is the sailor scout form of my original character Kaniaya, who is going to be one of the main characters in my 'in-the-making' manga Love-Love Aura.

Colors: Pale Green, Black (the grey parts are supposed to be black
)Power Source(s): ALL the elements, holy energy, and the Aurora Crystal (that's what she's wearing on her neck)
Likes: perfecting her fighting skills, being with her friends, comfortable but not TOO girly clothes, the colors blue and green, dance
Attacks:
Aqua Rush - Kaniaya summons surges of water which she can whip around or thrust at the enemy
Frozen Heart Barrage - conjures ice shards which are hurtled at the enemy, piercing through barriers and attacks Wind Barrier - strong winds form a circular barrier around Kaniaya and/or her comrads to protect them from attacks Storm Surge - hurricane winds immobilize the enemy Rock Force - can either create shield or throw slabs of stone at the enemy Gaia Earthquake - creates cracks/pits in the earth that swallow the enemy Fiery Torrent - columns of flames rush at the enemy Lightening Net - web of electricity encloses on the enemy, eventually tightening around them and shocking them Gentle Warmth - light surrounds Kaniaya/her comrads and heals them Psyche Chaos - *only in evil form or under extreme distress* Kaniaya uses psychic energy to invade the enemy's thoughts and controls their body and has the ability to force them to destroy themselves through tortureLots of attacks, right?

Hey, i know this may sound stupid, but, how do you do pixel art?

Well, I don't any more, actually. But when I was making the pixel art, I used bases from the SSMU groups around dA. I should have credits to the artists who made the said bases, if not links to the bases themselves. Most of it was just recoloring, but occasionally I would free-hand something. It was basically ad-lib. I'm not much for pixels; I typically do traditional mediums, as I'm sure you can tell from all of the sketches in my gallery.

hm, i see. Basic recoloring. That seems fairly simple, i guess, but the drawing part is what i have trouble with. Well, there are hundreds of SSMU deviations across the site, so i can use those as reference if i screw up.

No problem! Honestly, I would look to others who are still producing pixels for help, though. I was never much for pixel art, I don't think...I could never figure it out from scratch.

Yeah, but, i do have a back-up. If you want, you can read it, but i warn you, it's full of mistakes since i didn't have the urge to go back and proof-read it. Not spelling mistakes, more like grammar, i mean. Plus, it's not short. I built this thing up to be twenty seven chapters.
