Y'know, with all the times I drew sonic characters in my high-school days, I can't believe it took me this long to post something on DA with the blue guy & his friends in the same picture.

I guess it goes to show how FREAKING EXCITED I AM FOR THIS NEW GAME & SHOW!

Honestly, I haven't been this thrilled for something new about modern sonic for quite a number of years. While some of the recent games like Generations & Lost World, were good in their own right, Boom seems to have the Adventure / Adventure 2 like feel that I've been waiting for since the gamecube / dreamcast days, with a hint of Heroes thrown in.

Sure the new designs are a bit out there, especially with Knuckles, but you know what? I think its hilarious! (in a good way) If the show & game are made to present a more legitimately humorous side to sonic, then by all means they should. Although they have tried with the current games so far, I think this different team will do a better job in terms of the plot for the game.

I mean, come on, ex-insomniac & naughty dog workers, making a Sonic game?

This could be a VERY good turn for the franchise, considering that its in the hands of experienced game developers like these ones.

So go on, scoff at it all you want, you hardcore fans, I could care less. As far as I'm concerned, the sonic franchise went through MUCH worse changes in the past (coughcoughsonic06coughcough). If you ask me, this could be one of the best things to happen to the series, and all you have to do is give it a chance.

who knows, since Sonic Team isn't the one in control here, perhaps this game will actually play well.

Oh and just to give you all a thought abut this piece, just imagine Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze's mine cart segments, mixed with Rayman Legends' rhythm based platforming stages. ^_^
