Was watching Rapunzel and listening to I See the Light...and then I end up drawing Serenity. LOL!Just wanted to do something fun and princessy and light-hearted.
It made me feel very warm and snuggly and safe and light as I did it, hopefully it came through a little in the picture for all of you as well.Thank you very much for faving and commenting!

she's cute! And I'm glad you made the locket smaller! In the anime they always show it as this thing that's as big as Serenity's palm. I couldn't imagine wearing something that huge around my neck.

I completely agree!!! I was like "...This isn't a locket, it's a music box!" which I'm sure was their intention...but a locket that size would be so tacky!

This is a lovely take on Serenity. People seem to forget that Serenity is a lot more mature than Usagi, so seeing this makes me very happy. Well done.

That is true, I've never actually thought of that. I always thought Serenity had some grace and elegance that regular Tokyo Usagi lacked, but I can definitely see the maturity bit too!

And, yeah--I'm not sure if it's because of the memories or what, but Serenity is definitely more mature than Usagi. Just like Sailor Moon is somewhere in between.

Very true! I imagine that as a princess she had a lot more duties to do and whatnot and more responsibility to uphold; also Usagi only ever changes into Princess Serenity when she's really really serious.
