Description
A speed painting I did over the summer that I had wanted to work on a bit longer, but then ended up forgetting about it. There's still a lot of work involved, but I'm pretty happy with it at this stage. Figured I would post it up here in lieu of new artwork lately, since finals are coming up!
Inspired by Katy Perry's FIREWORK. I thought it was so suitable for those episodes when Usagi was beginning to discover her inner strength at being a sailor scout and a princess; when initially she was so afraid at her new responsibility. I thought the song would've been perfect for the last scene with the battle between her and Beryl.

Everytime you comment a little part of me explodes inside. It's a good thing, smoke and all.
I know I'm still a struggling artist and there's always lots for me to learn, but I've always hoped that I could start establishing an edge to my work, particularly with color. I've always hoped that my stuff in the end would be vibrant, eyecatching, and colorful, so I'm so glad when you commented!!!
