Snow by Night's kickstarter is almost finished!! It has only about two days left and a few hundred to go as I write this! So please go check out the kickstarter! c:This painting is from a short story I've been working on for Snow by Night. The story is not yet released, but this page can serve as a teaser. ^^ I really enjoy the story its from! It's the sort of dark fantasy legend I prefer painting. Enjoy~

OMFG. I am, as always, hugely impressed with how you can control watercolors. Did you use masking fluid to get the creatures' edges? I've recently started watercolors again. But I'm having trouble getting anything near a dark color without like five layers!

Your comment is so accurate. >< I regularly destroy so many paintings and have to do them over! I wonder sometimes about other artists, if maybe the same happens to them. There is so much awesome art out there to stare at and feel pathetic about, I wonder if the artists I idolize only show their best work and the wrecked pieces are just put away. Guess I'll never know.

I know I definitely don't show work I'm not happy with u @ Very easy to get discouraged by your idols when you only see their good stuff and not all of their flopping around that doesn't turn out all that great too.
