AkobAtoAko, Rocksody in Dm8x10 inches Colored Pencil on Canvas

"AkobAtoAko" is a wordplay of a Filipino word "ako bato ako," which means, "me, I'm a rock."
Rocksody in Dm is another wordplay of a musical title, "Rhapsody in Dm."
Sometimes, I use titles that give just a hint of what the image actually depicts and more of what I feel while I'm working on it as in the case of my C Major Purple. This time around, I'm hyped up on learning some ukulele music.

wow his incredible i think it's the same artist i saw on a FB page shared by fellow artists, i have seen one more who does swans on canvas with color pencil, unless it was the same one , thats amazing not only does he draw/paints but his actually flying!! he could be an acrobat too!!!..lol..with those size of paintings he does one needs to be flexible

It really looks, like the colours of the stone which are under the surface are also coming through (I hope that makes sence). It makes them look so solid and beautiful. You really continue to amaze me with every new submission, you always get better and better, even if you already are at such a high level.

The canvas is primed with acrylic gesso which provides a good surface for working with colored pencils.
