Description
My own personal interpretation of the Emperor from Warhammer 40,000. I had always imagined him with a beard, like Odin or Zeus, which in my mind gives him visage of unsurpassed wisdom and divinity which he (presumably) possess. The official design is pretty sweet, but this is the one thing I personally think he needs, particularly before his internment upon the Golden Throne, weary from the endless ages of battle. Like entering into a state of metamorphosis, this is the final stage of his mortal coil before emerging truly as a god-like being to save mankind from its enemies and itself, if there is anything left to save.TWITTER: twitter.com/Blazbaros

It's the only canon that doesn't put me in a depression while also teaching me about the lore in a bombastic fun way with a compelling story.

I also imagined him with a beard, or facial hair.
The Zeus and Odin parallel is quite spot on, as like both were known to have many heroic, godly/demigod sons (Odin to if less than Zeus).
Zeus also was quite manipulative to as according to some, he actually had ulterior motives i creating his sons to cleanse the world of horrific monsters, spawned from Typhon and Echidna, or even Gaea.
But in turn, many Ancient Greeks interpreted not Eris, but Zeus was the engineer behind the Trojan war (manipulating all, including Eris according to Hesiod) - as he caused the war, to kill of his demi-godly descendants, or their semi-godly descendants .
(The Emperor also planned the Primarchs to go against each other, to get rid of needless Primarchs after the Great Crusade, if not the Horus Heresy.)
Odin also planned and manipulated others in good intentions, and committed horrible things in (ie preventing Ragnarok, or at least have humanity and gods survive).
(The Emperor is even called the Allfather on Fenris)
The Emperor also though has elements of Yahweh AND Satan (if th latter with the Promethean/Luciferian interpretation).
The Emperor plays the role of Yahweh, compared to his super soldiers, especially Primarchs his angelic sons. Sangunius representing Archangel Michael, and Horus Satan/Lucifer, with the difference he defeats the Michael analogue.
The Luciferian/Promoetheus side, is that he rebelled against the Chaos Gods - representing a particular twisted, fourfold version of God, Daemons being their angels - the Emperor stealing/tricking the Caos Gods on Moloch, going against them and like Satan/Michael in more sympathetic interpretations, is a anti-theistic figure.

Thanks, I found it interesting how Warhammer 40k takes inspiration from classic tales and myths, with an unique spin on them still though. The Emperor, at least before the enthronement on the Golden Throne, might be offended by comparison to these gods and angels...XD

Well, one of the reasons is that www.youtube.com/user/ZoranTheB… (Leman Russ) moved half-way across the USA to get a new job, and he hasn't had any time to do voice work. My guess is to expect either another Voxcast or Bro Trip before we get another TTS.
