Description Norville "Shaggy" Rogers and Scoobert Dooby "Scooby" Doo, the inseparable pair of pals. Since they're at a college and Scooby is actively joining Shaggy for his classes, I immediately thought of making Scoob a service dog for Shag. Then came the question - why does Shaggy need a service dog? I very briefly thought "eating disorder" then quickly scrapped it for obvious reasons. An anxiety disorder works much better for both Shaggy's characterization and the genre of the show.

Scooby Doo is still an eldritch being in this version, making him able to stay alive for much longer than Great Danes normally live, as well as subtly giving Shaggy the ability to run as fast as a Great Dane and the ability to eat three times his body weight and not immediately perish. Despite being an eldritch being, Scooby is the heart and soul of Mystery, Incorporated. While not having the qualifications of, say, a therapist, he is incredibly emotionally intelligent and has helped the gang get through many a breakdown.

Shaggy Rogers comes from a surprisingly wealthy family. Not nearly as rich as the Blakes, but they have a small mansion on an extensive plot of land, and his parents, Colton and Paula, rarely go to work; rather, they golf, lounge, swim, paint still lives, and do other rich things. His anxiety disorder is currently being treated via medication, but he always keeps his trusty dog by his side. Shaggy is truly a mixed bag of interests and hobbies. He has not yet declared a major, is exploring a ton of options, is in way too many clubs than he has time for; essentially, he has too many thumbs in too many pies. And speaking of pies, his main hobby that he is thinking of pursuing is the culinary arts.

My fancast for Scooby Doo is just to get Frank Welker back. I don't know anyone else who can do that voice well.
For Shaggy, a new voice is a hard find. If nothing else, just get Matthew Lillard back, but I had an interesting idea that can only be confirmed with an audition: Brian David Gilbert could potentially do a pretty decent Shaggy voice. If you've seen his video, "have you seen my laptop", his wizard voice could be modified into a Shaggy voice. I'd definitely have to hear it first.

Scooby Doo and Shaggy Rogers belong to Warner Bros. and Hanna-Barbera.
This is my design. Do not use it without my permission or without crediting me in the process.
