Frederick Herman "Fred" Jones, the expert trapper himself. A himbo through and through, Fred always sees the silver lining. While not the leader of Mystery, Incorporated (you can ready why on my Daphne post), he does provide one essential thing. I know what you're thinking: "Well, Daphne's got the people skills, Velma is book smart, Shaggy's got his weird, trivial skills, and Scooby's emotionally intelligent, so what could Fred have?" I'll tell you what he has - he has the van. God bless Fred Jones for actually owning a vehicle large enough for four young adults and a full-sized Great Dane to fit inside comfortably.

Jokes aside, Fred does also have his trap-making expertise. He doesn't know much else about engineering, but he does know how to humanely catch a full-grown moose. Fred is also currently dating Daphne, after meeting her freshman year in an art elective. He brings a very bi wife energy to their relationship. His father, Frank Jones, is the head coach of Miskatonic University's soccer team, of which Fred is on.

My fancast for Fred's voice is Jerry O'Connell. It was hard finding someone other than Frank Welker, but I think he's got the right energy. He just needs to say "treasure" and "measure" with that same, weird pronunciation.
