hes really is supposed to be dirty and beaten-up looking. hes supposed to have some scars too, but it kinda got lost in the dirtiness.

That is wonderful!! Granted I'm familiar with the image but I can see that his face is dirty, the expression is very clear and accurate, the details are all just right ... Brilliant!! My ownly criticism would be that the line around his ear, which is probably the hair anyway, is too thick/dark.
