a little Saw-Whet owl character for =PrancerTank for our character trade c: I had so much fun with this one.I saw a little Saw-Whet owl at the zoo the other day on a keeper's hand. I couldn't help but gush over it's cuteness. It was a sunny day and her little eyes were squinted in the sun and she was just sitting there with her feathers all fluffed up. The keeper told us she loves the sunshine, which is unusual.
As fall continues you will see more and more animals in sweaters from me c:
I originally didn't have a hat for her, but I couldn't resist throwing it in there.
also, those leaf things are actually her true color code, without the texture.

The colors of this are wonderful, I love how the sweater is the only bright and colorful thing she wears!
I also really love your style all in all, the way you draw feathers, eyes and those boots, it's really great, I don't often come across styles that can use a sketch as lineart and look that good with it.
She is really beautiful, I'll surely be drawing her sometime soon!
